Piloting the TUI BOEING 787 out of Curaçao

5 жыл бұрынJustPlanes on the flightdeck of the TUI Netherlands Boeing 787 Dreamliner for a flight from Amsterdam to St Maarten, on to Curaçao and seen on this short video the departure from Curaçao on the way back to Amsterdam.
TUI Netherlands recently became the 1st airline to inauguarate scheduled Dreamliner service to the fantastic airport of St Maarten and we were lucky enough to be on board one of the first flights!
The program is hosted by the airline's Boeing 787 Flight Instructor Captain Bart van Haarlem who gives you one of the most complete presentations of the Dreamliner from the cockpit, the instruments, the systems and the Boeing operations procedures! The whole video is awesome. The full length version has a detailed walk around, a detailed cockpit presentation and all sorts of miscellaneous information. One of my top 5.

Flown that route 2 times on the KL 747 and most likely again next year on the KL 787-10! Thanks for featuring my island!

A pleasure Jonathan! Was great staying ini Curaçao twice. Once on this 787 trip and previously when we filmed the Arkefly 767. Lovely place for sure!

@@omarijoseph3189 Thanks very much Omari... you know we've been doing this for 29 years and one very important thing has been to stay close to our viewers, customers, friends and give them as much time as possible... off course nowadays that we get hundreds of messages/posts every day on You Tube, Facebook, Instagram, emails etc... its a bit harder but we try :) I think thats one thing that people appreciate so its important!

It is a wonder in these political correct days those who espouse "cultural appropriation" the maori's in NZ haven't had anything too say about the name of the airline. Tui is a maori name for a New Zealand native bird. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tui_(bird) Hi from NZ, Anthony

Camera spotlights fully on, in the cockpit, during the actual takeoff? I hope pilots were fine with that... Nice video as always, otherwise.

Just for takeoff... we tested it with the crew and it did not bother them otherwise we wouldn't do this...
