I can remember those old Chevrolet Impalas being used as Bridal cars for people's weddings in the 1960s. My Aunt when she married in 1967 had Pontiac cars with the big fins at the rear.

Isn't it funny, the people who are saying these cars belong in a junk yard, are ugly 4 dr old cars etc. are sitting in front of a computer screen while the people in the so called "ugly junk yard cars" are smiling and cruising around on a beautiful day just enjoying life.

@@jakobjansson3302Vad är skillnaden, någon hittar dem till slut och renoverar dem istället för att bara få rulla som konsertverktyg. Tills de tröttnar och gör sig av med dem för att intresset svalnat då krävs det proffs för att återställa dem till sitt rätta jag.

@@krestdorl1697 Varför skrota ett kulturarv? Kan ge reservdelar till en annan bil som enda nyttan. Dock krävs det ofta att man skrotar 3 bilar för att renovera 1 vilket tunnar ut utbudet nåt fruktansvärt. Varför kan de inte köpa nya org. delar istället, det skulle rädda många jänkare. Ett exempel, förr om åren så skrotades mängder med stationwagons😪 för att bli delar till cabbar och nu när de har insett sitt misstag så ångras det. Alltså inte det att renovera cabbar men skrota stationwagons.

Huge collection of GM 4 doors, which aren’t really worth much… several of the Chevys weren’t even Impalas. They were Bel Airs and Biscaynes(2 taillights on each side)And why roll through with the doors open? I did see a nice gold ‘63 Galaxie and a nice red ‘64 Galaxie 2dr hard top.

I have old 4-door jalopies that are worth more to me than the quintessential restored "nice" 2-door. A car doesn't have to be worth much for people to love and enjoy it. A lot of people, like me, are less interested in the shiny ones anyway. Nice is a relative term. It's ok for car enthusiasts to add their own individuality and personality to their projects.

I once saw on here that they have a the schittiest car that you can drive contest and saw a dude with a 63 Impala, dragging it's right rear quarter, shake'n to the oldies, parts fall'n off, trim wagg'n in the air, a real turd box, ............. the one at 6:05 looked like it

When cruising so slow, for so long, the oil cooler for the trans transfer heat to the cooling system. to keep the engine from overheating some drivers turn on the heater. and open doors to let out the heat.
