Nothing like an attorney, who wants to make laws, rather than follow them.

I live in Grants Pass and there are many, many jobs here but the Homeless People don't want to work. I've talked to many of them and if you befriend one, the next thing you know, they're at your home almost every day asking for more and things start to disappear like your kids bicycles and scooters, anything that's not nailed down. Many of these people are healthy and vibrant but don't want to work. I've given so much money to them I lost count. God tells me who to give help to and I listen and do what He commands me to do. You are wrong, it got so bad at Riverside Park I couldn't take my grandkids there but thank God we gave the Mayor an ultimatum and she got the job done or she looses her job! Nuff said. Homeless People DON'T WANT TO WORK, at least not many of them do.

The homeless shelters are not openly allowing homeless fentanyl users in. And that is what hand outs of cash seems to be going to support. Additionally, there are fentanyl users that are taking advantage of the public transportation. That’s not the issue. It’s that they blow smoke on civilians at the bus stops who speak up how they do not like seeing this felonious behavior at the bus stops. This was skirted around with this report and I appreciate the idea of not over-punishing. But what is the solution to the public use of fentanyl that is intimately tied to this homeless crisis???

I agree. The bus stops and busses no longer feel safe enough for me to ride these past few years due to the open drug use and disorderly behavior.

Our poor public school students that rely on this free transportation in all of TUSD and beyond!

@@ProfessorNicholsBass 100%. If I had a kid, I would not feel safe having them ride on public transportation right now.
