After watching all these videos, I finally understand how pimping can make sense to a woman. If she’s addicted to drugs and does not know how to manage money, a pimp comes along and provides a little bit more structure and protection for her, along with a steady flow of drugs. What should be a 50-50 arrangement is 100% arrangement. True 100% arrangement may make sense if the girls can walk away with 100% of your money if she decides to leave the pimp. Where it doesn’t make sense is that she leaves the pimp with no money. That’s why the girl doesn’t leave the pimp. It’s like leaving a 401(k) that you’ve worked five years to build. The Solution for the girl is to get off drugs and learn how to manage her money. If she could learn to do this then she could probably make a killing out there by herself.

hes one of the good ones. ive read enough of iceberg slim's books and seen all these pimp videos and have heard many stories about the various gangs mobs and mafias around the world and their versions of pimping. i've come to some conclusions: the finesse pimps are the good pimps. they're pretty much the prostitute's "man" and act like their man/husband and do everything for them and generally do not put hands on them. if they're not putting hands on them and actually elevating the woman's lifestyle (many pimps do this and you've had them on, like Sharp, the bishop, minister seymore, etc) then its largely a victimless arrangement and more like a polygamous marriage. the gorilla pimps, on the other hand, are something completely different. they are the pure evil here. they're the ones using brutal force, kidnapping, locking them in dog cages, feeding them cat food, torturing them to break their spirit so that theyre the most submissive. they also get them addicted to hard drugs that they provide, keeping them further bound. they dominate the women through constant fear and terror. this is called human trafficking. gorilla pimps vary from lone individuals, to street gangs, to the mafias themselves. law enforcement should realize this distinction and focus their efforts accordingly...

The pimps all seem to be little boys who lacked opportunities and guidance. Most of them had violent childhoods and so they are violent. Most didn't finish school. I don't condone their actions at all, but the world they live in is something I admittedly cannot even imagine. They see only a few options for their futures when they are kids - gangs or other illegal activities like theft, drugs, or women. Imagine if these guys had a different perspective because they did really have other opportunities to pursue - If they knew they had options and support. I have to think that most of them probably would not resort to this life if it wasn't so normalized for them and if they didn't have such a hopeless and self preserving perspective as kids.
