Ran into him in Milwaukee and also talked on the phone once. Definitely a street/hip hop legend. "It ain't dead...they just scared." I love what he is doing for youth literacy and the publishing industry.

I like most of your interviews Pierre, but pimps I can't stand. The movie The Mack was made about my father's first cousins, The Ward Brothers. They did their thing in Oakland and Willie was killed during the making of the movie, so they had to move the production down to L.A. He was killed we hear about not paying a "tax." They spent time in n my home of L.A. when I was kid, and just seeing women being mistreated and talked to the they did, I couldn't take. One of the brother's , son Freddie was stabbed to death 30 years ago by one of his wimenz and the other son just died a few months ago here in L.A. Back in the 70s, the one just died was sent to a mental institution, because seeing women treated the way his father and uncle treated them sent him crazy. In this interview, as soon as homeboy started referring to women as "bitches" and "hoes," I'm out. Never understand how someone can say they love their mother, but to and about women that way. I'll some other interview. Later
