That grooving blade is terrific, it's definitely on my list. I might not get it from Amazon though - both those links are saying 'not currently available'. It can be found at other sellers with just a quick search with your favourite engine...

Hi Stephen! While there are other machines available where I am, very few of them will fit my 12m3 workshop. I am considering a 6 inch long bed planer, but this works for now. I have also considered making longer beds for this machine. We will see. For now I have some furniture to build :) Like you I also have a lunchbox thicknesser. It’s just a little sad. These machines are kind of a lost opportunity. With only a little effort, they could have been so much better. Anyways. Cheers and thanks for watching and commenting. @@NomadMakes - thanks for the reply and for sure I shall be following. I will do the Subscribe thing in a moment. I inherited some machinery from my Dad when he passed away and whilst I know it is far from being the best of anything, it is better than nothing, and I am keen to try. I have spent all my working life in very high precision engineering working in microns. The biggest hurdle I find is to stop thinking that everything needs to be at that kind of level of accuracy, so I can accept that at times a millimetre or two is not the absolute catastrophe it is in my work. I look forward to seeing more of your stuff and whilst the Shleppach purchase may not have been the best at least it brought me to your channel as that is what I was searching for.

@@stephenedwards3397 Yeah... The struggle for perfection. I feel your pain. The wondeful thing about wood though, is that it moves. So it kind of makes fun of our quest for insane accuracy. I still strive for the best I can get from my mahcines and techniques/skill. And relative dimentioning is your best friend in woodworking :D

Hi! I have the Titan Track Saw. But really haven’t tried too many miter cuts with it, so I cannot really say. Peter Millard @10minute workshop had done a lot on those saws and he reccomends them. Perhaps check out some of his stuff? Cheers and thanks for watching and commenting.

@@NomadMakes Yeah I saw his video my bro.. Thanks for replying to my comment. I'm in the middle of fixing up my Titan planer/thicknesser atm. The Fence is useless. I have to change it soon. I'm also building my own Table saw as well. I had originally bought the Titan table Saw but it was bad. The table was really uneven. The motor is a hard start motor. It's not belt driven which makes it very loud but I'm going to repurpose parts from it and rebuild them into a new build with steel framing. It's takin some time bcos I'm new to welding as well. It ain't easy at all.. Thanks again bro. Keep up ur great work too btw..

Yeah. That fence is utterly useless. I started building my own table saw, but ended up purchasing the Dewalt DWE7485. Before that I just had a cheap sircular saw screwed up side down into my bench. But that worked as well. If can at all swing it, I suggest getting the Dewalt table saw, unless you are more interrested in building the tool, than what you make with it. Which is cool as well. As long as you keep on making.

It is a «Capital» drill press. Basically the OEM brand of Moe & Co in Bergen as far as I can tell. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Hehe. I don’t know where I pick up these things :-D Regarding the blade guard, I will keep it. I heard Guy Dunlap talking about it and explaining how the European style guard is supposed to be used. The hands are supposed to «run over» the guard. And trying that out, I decided I liked that a lot. Again, cheers and thanks for looking in.
