I'd never thought I would see a KZfaqr from overseas modifying a Kei truck in my life🤣🤣 These things are called "kei-tora" (kay-tohrah) in Japan and they're everywhere and used and abused as commercial vehicles.(except for that people who modify them). I'm so glad that Marty find this truck!

Exactly what I keep thinking when I see this truck. I know it's low boost, volume setup but I'd either angle it a little bit, put some kind of scoop on it, or a small fan to draw some air through it. If you are going to go through all the trouble of putting an intercooler on it make it a little more functional. It is an awesome little truck in any case.

There is a guy in my neighborhood, in Eastern USA, who has a little Kei Truck painted up yellow with the Tonka truck logo on the side of it. Such a fun little truck to see. There is also an importer the next town over that imports them with a couple of Hijets in now for about $6,000 USD.

Sloppy please make a video of experiment LS engines where you experiment with the wildest claims that can destroy engines. 1- lubing underneath bearings and seeing how fast they can fail on LS engines. 2- not torquing critical bolts and leaving it torque to feel. 3- filing piston rights with a grinder lol 4- using Chinese parts to build engines 5- Please please take a look at a channel named Garage54 from russia but they have an English channel translated. They are wild. I want to see videos like this coming from my best youtuber !! 🙆🏼‍♂️ they do ladas engines but I want to see it with american engines power.

Tip for the front fenders: if you find yourself tearing them off occasionally, swap out the Rivnuts for rubber well nuts, they're more likely to pull/pop out of the sheet metal without tearing up your door skin. Love the show, cheers from Canada!

I've just imported a Kei Suzuki Carry into Australia. I got a 2020 model that's automatic and only 47 000 kms. I did have to change the tyres, get the air con re-gased to Aus standards and install an FM radio as the Japanese AM didnt work here. but that was it. I'm now excited to start building my micro camper on the back. Next step welding the frame 😊

11:58 TIP: put nutserts on the flare too, then, cut out the threads with a drill. Then you have a really pish-posh install, and you can tighten it properly without fear of crushing the flares.

I build model cars, Japanese ones in particular. I built a Hakosuka from Aoshima with a body kit and wheels. The exact same wheels as are on your little truck. Same colour, everything. Awesome.

@@vj2varun Not sure what your question is. Meters vs metres is just an autocorrect thing> With regards cm, you can't just pop them into any calculation readily. It always causes unit confusion at the end. Better to convert to either mm or metres first. Much less hassle. They are also not good when having discussions in engineer. If someone says to you, "it's 300 long" depending on the context you'll instantly know is either metres or Millimeters. But if some muppet comes along and starts using cm then mistakes will be made. They are units for primary school kids.

Considering the rather simple shape of the rear fenders, I'm surprised they didn't split them in half and widen them by welding in a filler strip of sheet metal - its a fairly common trick with the chopper crowd.

i dont have a kei-truck, but i do have a 1993 Nissan D21 aka Hardbody. i love it, it's super slow but something about having a 5spd gearbox with no power steering and a bed is just exciting. Great Video boys!

.On my 94 Hijet, Pick-Tipper, aka Scissors lift dump, I replaced the stock fenders, which are pretty similar to the ones on your Hijet Tipper, with boat trailer fenders.

2 Potential Ideas To blend in the with the front flares... 1. Paint the Outer 50mm of the rear arches black to match in with the front. (Similar to Mk1 Golf GTI's) 2. A black scoop on the intercooler. Stick out ~50mm, and only cover the rear quarter of the intercooler...

Just a comment from an offroader perspective - keep the larger offset wheels and add the muddies to them. Also fit the biggest overall diameter you can. But this is a mad little truck. I do miss the bucket intake noise though
