Star Wars Episode V The Empire Strikes Back: Inspired by the events of the blockbuster film. Action and thrills take center stage on the main deck of the Executors Star Destroyer, and features iconic scenes playing out on the dot matrix display as missions are activated during the game.
Join Luke Skywalker as he embraces the power of the Force and leads the efforts to defeat Darth Vader and the Galactic Empire. This table is jam-packed with 3D animation and fully functional equipment, including a walking AT-AT which you have to fire tow-cables on to bring down. Tie fighters, Ion Cannon and lightsabers also make appearances.
TABLE GUIDE
Activate missions by hitting the two center bank targets to collect the words STAR WARS. You can then choose which scene to
start. There are a total of five missions, with checkpoints along the way, to complete before activating the final battle between Luke Skywalker and and Father of the Year, Darth Vader!
Scene 1 - Trapped in the Wampa's Cave
Part 1 - Get the lightsaber by hitting the left sinkhole to set him free and then the center sinkhole to fight the Wampa.
Part 2 - Han must find Luke before he freezes by hitting the lit shots until he's found. (random)
Part 3 - Echo Base has been discovered by an Imperial probe droid. Shoot the lit lanes to destroy the probe.
Scene 2 Echo Base Assault
Part 1 - Imperial troops have entered the base and you must defeat the Stormtrooper by shooting the spinner to attack him from behind. (3 times)
Part 2 - Imperial walkers spotted on the north ridge. Shoot the flashing lanes around the AT-AT to force it to it's knees!
Scene 3 - Escape from Hoth
Part 1 - The Imperials are chasing the Millennium Falcon and you must escape by shooting the ball between the asteroids and the Tie figher to escape.
Part 2 - Dagobah. Follow Yoda's teachings by hitting the flashing shots to place the stones in a column with the Force.
Part 3 - Mynocks are making trouble for the Millennium Falcon! Defeat them all by hitting the flashing lases. Hurry, more will come soon.
Scene 4 Cloud City
Part 1 - Han Solo is trying to contact Lando Calrissian for permission to land at Cloud City. Follow the flashing lanes to navigate to the landing pad.
Part 2 - Lando's invitation to dinner leads you to Darth Vader. Try to hit him with the jump ramp, but beware, the dark side of the Force is strong!
Scene 5 Perils of Escape
Part 1 - Han Solo is being put into carbon freeze, help Chewbacca guard Han by shooting the right ramp to load the small
flipper for a cross-table shot at the Tie figher targets.
Part 2 - A Stormtrooper has discovered Luke. Knock the Stormtrooper out of your way by defending 3 laser blasts with your lightsaber.
Scene 6 Darth Vader Battle
Part 1 - Luke finally confronts Darth Vader. Fight the dark lord in this video game using the flipper & launch buttons to defend his attacks.
Part 2 Vader uses the Force to hurl objects at Luke. Help Luke avoid the objects by hitting the flashing lanes.
Part 3 The Duel ends here. You must hit ALL the flashing lanes to escape Darth Vader
Checkpoints allow you to restart a scene and the part where you left off. If you complete Scene 1 Part 1 and lose the ball, when you next start Scene 1, you will begin at Part 2.
Jedi Training
The Star Wars targets can be switched to a mini u-turn allowing you to spell the word TRAINING, then shooting the center saucer to begin your Jedi Training. Obi Wan Kenobi has a training orb he's using to help you learn the ways of the Force. Defend against the orbs attacks using the flipper & launch buttons.
