Pinball (NES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of Nintendo's 1985 pinball game for the NES, Pinball.
The game has no ending, so I play the Game A mode until I get a game over with a final score of 193,230.

To think, after all these years, I still completely suck at the Mario/falling princess minigame! It drives me nuts!

It's hard not to respect Pinball for what it represented in 1985, but it hasn't aged well. Still, it still makes for a good waste of fifteen minutes, and it deserves a shout-out as being the first NES release that Satoru Iwata (RIP, bro) worked on.

Could you imagine if a real pinball machine could make the flippers invisible when you reached a certain score? That would be surreal!

Pinball for the NES from 1985, is based on the arcade machine of the same name. A competitive multiplayer version of this game was released on the VS. System under the name VS. Pinball.

I remember when I was 9 years old I got an NES from a family friend with a bucket of NES games in 2010. (I mentioned this on your Milons Secret Castle video I think). This was one of the games in there. I remember thinking this was one of the worst games I had played. Almost 8 years later and I got to say I was a stupid kid for thinking this was so bad.

It's primitive and repetitive, yeah. But it came out in 1983! (For Japan anyways). I've always wondered what did people think of this game when it was still considered not completely retro? I'd love to know!

This was like me a few weeks ago, although it was on a bootleg SNES Classic loaded with... NES ROMS??? Seriously????

I actually think this is a good pinball game. I didn't play it until the virtual console but I like it.

Yeah, I didn't think it was bad. It's fun in short bursts, and I enjoyed it as a kid. It's just so simple, even by NES standards. I like High Speed and Pinbot a lot better :)

I love pinball and you did well. But video pinball cannot recreate the tactile sensation,despite being imaginative.
