Andrea, this is my dream getaway! I've been watching Jack Barnwell for years enjoying his landscaping expertise in the Mackinac area. Seeing the fort and that beautiful inn was icing on the cake! Loved it all! What an amazing getaway. Your face the morning you were leaving.. was absolutely glowing!!!!! Yes those two stag statuary with the wreaths and the waiting horse drawn carriage..... I could not leave!!!!

I follow another KZfaqr from MI, she was just at Mackinac Island too. We try to go to MI every yr. Maybe next yr we’ll go there and stay the night 😊 beautiful island. I work remotely, but my coworkers go often 😊 blessings

Than k you for sharing your time on Mackinac Island with us. It was so lovely! I visited and fell in love with the island in 1995, but haven't been back since. I've watched other videos taken on the island, but none as good as this. It was a sweet reminder of a special time in my life.

What an interesting island! We have similar forts here in Nova Scotia and they're always a favourite of mine to visit, because of all of the beautiful historic things, but I love that the boys have just as much fun touring them!

How absolutely fantastic!! So picturesque. I wanna go so badly!! The water is gorgeous, and the town is so quaint. My kind of place. The hotel you stayed in is lovely. My favorite wallpaper is the bird wallpaper. And how cool is that fort?! Dreaming is free!!!!

Many years ago, I visited Mackinaw in the spring, when every lilac plant was in bloom. It was absolutely incredible! A feast for the eyes AND the nose. Loved it!
