My parents had a static caravan on the Pinewoods site from the mid 70's to the early 90's. Spent all my childhood holidays there and whilst the site has changed (improved) a lot, it's still kept it's charm and we love to go back as often as possible. Thanks for sharing and happy travels!

I used to go here as a child late 70's early 80's. My Grandad used to have a caravan here. I keep trying to work out where it was located. The toilet never worked so we would have to go across to the shower blocks. Tried to avoid the midnight run.

Wow that place has changed since we used to visit. May give that site a try but sounds a bit pricey. I love the open spaces though. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻😄 Trev

Thanks for tour , looks a great site . Plenty of space and walks . As for the price, it compares very well with most sites including club sites because club prices are creeping up . Good review thanks again.

Loved going to Pinewood in Wells but they have now put a restriction on the number of dogs you can take, so I was refused a booking this year because I have 4 dogs. So sad as a had planned to go every year.

We went here 2 years ago and loved it. We had 2 dogs then but now have 3, on the online booking it only allows 2 dogs and I've noticed you have 3 do you have to ring and ask them.

The last time I was there, it was expensive and they wanted to charge me two ridiculous prices for my dogs never again

Little train at Wells closing, Holkham Estate unwilling to renew lease, they claim train not suitable for today's visitors, my kids loved the train. Holkham Estate becoming too greedy, they shouldn't forget they receive taxpayers money to support their farming.

Been going to Wells for many year's, the static site at one time was mostly tents a d touring vans but over the years they have driven campers off that site and filled it with static vans so don't go to pinewoods anymore.
