Been a Sigma fan for a while. Had the Kinloch but picked up a Piper 3 and it's the best putter I've ever used. It's saved me 2-3 strokes a round.

Great looking office. The FETCH putter is as near to perfect as it gets. Imagine us seniors being able to fetch the ball from the hole without bending over. Nice!

I tried the fetch out a few weeks ago and it was pretty much spot on. I was switching between the TM Spider and the Fetch and I think the Fetch felt better tbh and it is a full $100 cheaper. Hopefully these go on sale in the next month for the holidays because I will definitely be picking one up.

I just bought the Arna. Probably the best feeling insert ever made. I still love a good milled solid feel but this beats anything in the SOFT category.

James, softest putter is the Wilson Black Jack with a balata insert, I have been using one since 1992 bought in Florida for $12.

Nice office/study James, though I think you need a putting surface installed (Great fun for rainy days). Not really a fan of soft inserts, they work well on faster Greens but on slower Greens I struggle to get the Ball up to the hole. Love the Ball retrieving feature on the Fetch model, very useful for us "Owd Uns"!

My first putter was a STX. Remember them? I just tried the center shafted version a few days ago and I believe I will make the switch from my Even Roll CS2 that was really good for me last year. I don’t think the sigma 2 is softer than the STX, but that’s a good thing.

The office is great, but you could do with a few Auralex acoustic foam tiles on the walls to get rid of the nasty high pitch echo. Apart from that, loving the channel. A. x

Innovative with dialing in the length, but the SW does change as you change the length. I just custom ordered my ZB2 @ 33 in. Fixed. Also i wanted a D6/D7 SW so Ping are drilling holes in the heel & toe and filling in with 40 grams of Tungsten powder, the head will go up to 390 grams. Extra $ but will be worth it... i like a heavier feeling putter head. Took the Ping putter app test and scored a +8 (strong arc), so this head type will fit my stroke as close to ideal as possible

Had a Scotty Newport 2 Notchback years ago that was soft. My current Odyssey Versa 9 I've had in the bag is soft on good strokes but if I'm off center its more clicky - which is good feedback

Softest I’ve ever had was the Taylormade Nubbins - loved those bobbles!! These look well good though

The putter feel so good I already bought one because it is so good especially for kids because you can change the putter length and very soft face. A very good price from (Drummond golf) it only cost 330 dollars, good price

I love this putter with the biggest grip. Pp62 I think. I have the new Heppler Fetch too without the insert and ball pickup feature is the best. I buy everything off of Ebay. haha

Interesting feature, that fetch the ball thing. Can't help wondering whether some greens keepers will shudder a little bit, tho. Will some guys reach over at an angle while putting the club in or taking it out of the cup, and damage the lip in the process?

Those things are sweet! They do everything. The only thing it’s missing is a cup holder 😂

Some courses have signs asking that players NOT do put their putters in the hole to retrieve their ball because it damages the edge. This putter barely fits so it will as well.. Nothing worse that when guys do it with anser shaped and they scoop around to dig their ball out.

How long did you use this putter. I've had mine since it originally came out and although I have tried other putters in the last 7 years I always come back to my Ping Fetch. I don't think I will ever change again.

Looking at the tyne stealth. I've read other comments that the shaft can feel like it flexes too much. Just concerned that the extendable shaft isn't solid or that the shaft is 'whippy'. Since you have likely had a chance to use the putter for a few rounds now can you tell me how it's held up? And have you noticed anything like this? Thanks!

Somebody should’ve told Ping that the Fetch putter may not be such a big hit being no one will be taking out flagstick anymore. Just saying....I think that putter is a swing and a miss. The others are fantastic. Nice video

Adjustable length is a nice idea, but I agree that once you find your correct length, it kind of becomes a hindrance. What if you want to change the grip? I saw the tech of it on the website and wonder how much weight does it add to the overall weight and does it mess with the balance and feel of the putter stroke. Very informative. The office walls need maybe a different color. Seems kind of bland.

Love the idea of the Fetch but will they cause damage to the Hole if player isn't accurate? Great range of putters can see a new Anser in my future to replace my old faithful.

They look fantastic (love the colours), and the ball retriever is genuinely innovative. However, I don't get why you want a soft face. I prefer a milled face where it's integral to the putter rather than an insert - I find that helps me control distance better. Soft inserts dull the feel for me.

Ingenious way to change the length, as you say, who'd adjust it if your fitted for it though?

I bought the Wolverine H ---- I now average 29 putts a round. Reason --- balance , alignment , grip feel , feel on face -- forgiveness (high MOI) Its an insane putter and its length is adjustable

How good is that ability to get the ball out of the cup? I've seen plenty of gadgets that do it but never such an integrated thingy. Might even consider buying one just for that.

Is a soft insert really applicable for UK greens? My home course has quick greens for no more than 8 weeks of the year. I would love Ping to bring back proper non insert putters, in steel, like the original Anser 2. It was good enough for TW..

So...Fetch? Did someone watch "Mean Girls" before they designed this? :) j/k.....and I'm ashamed I said that out loud.... A little gimmicky, but using it as a training aid adds to it's desire. And yes, not bending over to fetch a ball will DEFINITELY have a lot of people buying this (although spending hundreds less for just the device might still be the way to go for most) I really like the length adjustment portion, maybe focused at some younger golfers whom will grow and keep the same putter (there goes the ROI for Ping) but like you said, 'no touchy' once it's set by your coach! As an aside, sorry (like it matters to you!) for not posting as much recently, went to six days a week at work and I joined a golf club, so I haven't been spending a lot of time watching the tube at home!

Taylormade nubbins, softest by miles. Great for learning how to get a good roll off the face but not for the longer puts.
