Both women are talking about how the emperor has one wife (the first dancer ) and she is telling the other girl (the one that the emperor is going to marry) that they should celebrate the saintity of marriage. The married girl tells her that she has cut into her heart because she will share her husband with her. At the end they become one in love to the emperor. Pinga is a ceremony of marriage by the brides of the emperor. That is why only women are present.

This Bajirao Mastani is a story of Hindu king (Bajirao, who fought 50 wars and never lost any one) who fell in divine love with a muslim princess(Deepika as Mastani) and marries her. But the society and his family opposes him for his marriage with Mastani. Finally his son born to his first wife Kashibai(played by Priyanka) put Mastani to jail when King went on a battle. After king won the battle, he got to know that his own son jailed her second mother(step mother). So he fell sick.... Plus this is a still from a movie about ancient Indian Kingdoms. At those times women used to dance for Kings and they used to be highly choreographed. Present India is nothing like that.

"Pinga" came out a couple of years back. Please check out "Dola re dola" which is similar but old (16 years ago). Many people feel The former was inspired by the latter
