Playing forehand and backhand strokes individually in practice is an important step in your development but to use them effectively in a game situation you must be able to switch between them. This sounds like a simple step but it's something you must practice. Lesson 10 focuses on ensuring you can quickly switch between your backhand and forehand table tennis strokes.
Before you start this training session make sure to watch the tutorial onimproving your reflexes: www.pingskills.com/tutorials/...

Hi Alois and Jeffs, Thank you so much for your videos. They help me learn how to sense the topspin, how to serve and move. I have been practiced for 4 months. However, I am not good at reflex and switching between hands in the game, these skills are quite acceptable when I practice. Are there anythings I can do to improve it?

Great to hear you are making some progress. I think the key is to keep training and watch the ball as closely as you can. Watch this video for some more tips: www.pingskills.com/tutorials/intermediate-strokes/improving-your-reflexes

Thanks for all your training tips. I'm a backhand dominate lefty who plays offensive. My current and first custom set up is a Yasaka Ma Lin extra special with Rakza 7 bh/7 soft fh. I like it but is Tenergy 05 fx suited for me/worth the price?

Question what foot should you put forward in forhand
@pingskills
@pingskills 3 жыл бұрын
Generally you want to be fairly square on to the table so you can easily play a backhand or a forehand. If you are right handed then it is OK to have your left foot slightly forward. Take a look through our basic strokes tutorials as they discuss the position for each stroke: www.pingskills.com/tutorials/basic-strokes

@@pingskills does i have to change my finger on the handle while switching back hand to fore hand?
@pingskills
@pingskills Жыл бұрын
@@sumandas9487 It is best if it does not change much at all. If you cannot change your grip quickly enough then you will have problems during a game.
