I have tremendous respect for Pink and I always loved her music, but why, why can’t she still dodge these questions more professionally and why does she always fall for it? I understand that this is definitely not the type of song she liked to make, not the video or dance she enjoyed and truly Christina wasn’t the artist she likes to collaborate with. We get it. But it’s been 20 years. Why can’t you just say something like “Yeah these were fun times but as you know this project was an outlier in my audio and video discography, so putting it to the bottom of the list, but I have a lot of respect for the team who did it” or something like that? I don’t think artists have to lie about how they really feel and I don’t want Pink to be disingenuous; but we already heard about how she really felt like 20 times in the past 20 years. At this point, we would just appreciate some professionalism. And saying “Mya and Lil kim were cool though” implies she’s still not over the Christina thing, which is totally a shade, no matter how Pink wants to position it. And the fact that Christina has always been cool about this whole controversy for all these years is making me think that she wasn’t really the problem here.

In the interview back in the early 2000s, Pink mentioned that it was Xtina’s a manger that mostly pushed for her part in Lady Marmalade and then of course there was the Beautiful situation. But I think it was a thing where because she had issues with Xtina’s management and the songwriter choosing to go with her, she formed a disliking for Xtina. It just seems so one-sided that this is how I can view it. She didn’t initially dislike Xtina but after the encounters with her management/others, she began to mesh them all together and became angry towards her.

Christina was “cool” about it cause she was the instigator, but go off 🙄 Let’s normalize shading artists in moments where they deserve shade. Professionalism is one thing, holding other artists accountable and reminding them that their transgressions have been forgiven but not been forgotten is another.. It’s people like Pink that artists HATE because she’s not afraid to speak the truth as many times as she’s asked to speak on it. I myself didn’t even know Cristina was that much of a diva until Pink retold the story so I’m glad she reiterated her story for fans that possibly weren’t old enough to even know what happened. Pink is just that bad ass mom that keeps us in check no matter how hard she herself parties. The fact that she has up until that particular moment with Christina always sang words of praise shows me that Christina is a two faced diva that gives her fans one side and her coworkers/team another. It’s not her fault she has a knack for telling it how it is, without sugar coating shit. She ain’t fake like Christina seems to be 🙄🤷🏻‍♂️ Let’s not forget the accountability that is lacking in the entertainment industry. Need I remind you about Ellen Degeneres. 😬👉🏼👈🏼

Even Pink herself says it was the producers/managers at the time who actually pissed of Pink about who's getting which part (I think she mentions Ron Fair, I can't remember exactly though, because guess what, it was TWENTY years ago!). We don't even know if these producers asked Christina about this at all, knowing that all they'd care about is sales & money, and not what the artists really want. What's really childish about Pink's behavior is that she eventually did it. She was a part of the project. She made money out of it. She accepted the awards, even a grammy. So she benefited from all this, but she continues to talk trash about the people who made this project a success. She kind of lost it especially after Linda Perry chose to collaborate w/ Christina instead of her, and then Pink was like a jealous ex-lover with some toxic possessiveness. Then she went full on trashing Christina everywhere publicly, in her concerts etc, for years. And she still does it after 20 years. And no, this doesn't make her a true-to-herself candid artist. This makes her a bully. And enough is enough.

I feel Pink. Imagine you're in a class and you were randomly assigned to make a presentation with some friend who you don't really like working with even though he or she is very good. The final presentation was outstanding eventually because all of you did well. You still enjoy having coffee with him/her for some chit-chats anyway. I like how honest she is. P!nk can't help but be blatantly honest in the sense that she can't avoid risky questions just to appear nice and correct in the eye of the audience. She doesn't love to pander to people 😂. Frankly, I love both of them, their feud or animosity would never make me lose the unconditional respect and love that I have for these two talented artists. The truth is that, at that time, they were both young, immature and a bit diva-ish, as a fact both of them threw shade at other celebrities in their early years in the music industry. As for Lady Marmalade, it was meant to be the way it is. It sounds great cause everyone has their iconic parts and everyone got to shine using what they had to offer vocally.

STOP MIXING STUFF UP. The awkwardness back then was mostly there because of Ron Fair who managed Christina AND Mya at the time. It could have been a better collaborative effort behind the scenes, but Ron Fair had A LOT of power back then… too much. And she didn’t wanted to let her part of the cake go, totally understandable. When you’re new in this business, especially 23 years ago, you gotta fight hard. I’m sure Alecia would have loved the entire process to be way better. Plus, I went and read the BuzzFeed interview, the ranking rules were made so she couldn’t change her mind about the order. And in a last sentence she said Lady Marmalade could have been higher. Everyone is so obsessed with drama that they make stuff up with nothing.

Pink is blunt, so when asked a question she will answer. At that time if there was a problem she addressed it and never changed the answer. But as people grow, opinions of others can change and they learn from it. I don’t think Pink is a hater at all, she just grew up out of what others were telling her and gave respect to Christina.

A Boss and Beefing are two different things. But they are all my favorite artists. I grew up watching all of these women. They are different but that's good! Lady Marmalade is my favorite song in my heart it is rated number 1! Seattle Seahawks number is 12 for the Fan's! All ladies let's be True Bosses without the Beef! Let the show "Beef" be fictional! Pink has always been a stellar up standing artist. Never doing the typical pop stuff. Other than Lady Marmalade, pink really doesn't do the same sexy pop female thing they all usually try to be. Pink is still selling albums, selling out stadium tours. Her interviews are more like a real conversation and not a media trained one. Christina has done her thing to.
