@@marsuygar8419sorry then in that case just chain the length you want, do hdc in back loops only, slip stitch together once wide enough to wrap around head and thread yarn in the top to close off

if you don't know the person's measurements i would suggest maybe doing it in a smaller size but with a more stretchable yarn so it still fits. (hope it helps) 🩷🖤
