Your soap videos always inspire me. I hope to one day be half as good as you are. I'm curious, in your recipe you say you use "rice oil" Is that the same as RICE BRAN OIL?

I love your beauty & Grace, Etsuko. Soap-making is a gentle, creative, & soothing Art.. Beit being engrossed in our own, or watching the graciously produced & shared videos of others. Because soap-making is ‘time out’, i am especially drawn to those who refrain from fast forwarding ((~_\ ...after all we are all quite capable of ‘forwarding’ should we be sop time pressed...or hyper ;);) Thank you again for your exquisite Art, Etsuko

Because the purity of oil differs from country to country, it is not always the same. olive oil 20% rice oil 10% castor oil 6% shea butter 4% palm kernel oil 30% palm oil 30%

Your soap arts are my future goals! so neat and pretty! If I may ask, what can you use for the divider? Can we use milk carton or PVC plastic? thank you :)
@KittenBowl1
@KittenBowl1 5 жыл бұрын
Nedra Widjaja she uses acrylic mold, sold in the internet shop called Cafe de Savon in Japan. I’m a soaper myself living in Japan and bought some stuff from there. They sell all kinds of acrylic mold to all the soap and cosmetic making ingredients. You can improvise by using milk cartons and cut and bend how ever you like it. Many people in Japan use milk cartons in soap making.

I tried this soap it turns so nice but noticed small white spots of titanium dioxyde as it wasn’t mixed in the oils, how can we avoid this?
@thairinkhudr4259
@thairinkhudr4259 4 жыл бұрын
I have heard that Titanium Dioxide needs extra stirring than mica, so it's reccommended to use a milk frother to thoroughly disperse tanium dioxide in a liquid, or you can use a stick blender. This might make your soap trace faster.
