The three parts of Another Brick In The Wall joined together. I also used "The Thin Ice", "The Happiest Days Of Our Lives" and "Goodbye Cruel World", to make it seamless. It's a concept album, so it makes perfect sense to have all that together.
Give it a listen and enjoy!

@@elmonstro7852 in Framingham, MA in 1968 the Sudbury Valley School was founded as a direct democracy. the students themselves elect the staff on an anual basis, there are no grades, no grade levels, and every aspect of the school is governed by the school meeting. there is an interview with Dan Greenburg from 1988 when the school was 20 years old. its called "What Sudbury Valley is all about". Dan Greenburg has since passed on, but the school is very much still in business and has inspired others who often call themselves "sudbury schools". many of Dan's books can be bought directly from the school. I was in college on a spring day in 1983 in a business class with the windows open and this song playing. Our teacher appreciated it and wove it into what he was talking about. As he was finishing, he said his lesson was about to reach a crescendo, just as the song was. We all cracked up. A great memory. Ironic we had a cool teacher, unlike the one in the song.

[Part 1] Daddy's flown across the ocean Leaving just a memory A snapshot in the family album Daddy, what else did ya leave for me? Daddy, whatcha leave behind for me? All in all it was just a brick in the wall All in all it was all just bricks in the wall "You! Yes, you behind the bikesheds, stand still lady!" When we grew up and went to school There were certain teachers who would Hurt the children in any way they could (oof!) By pouring their derision Upon anything we did And exposing every weakness However carefully hidden by the kids But in the town it was well known When they got home at night, their fat and Psychopathic wives would thrash them Within inches of their lives. [Part 2] We don't need no education We don't need no thought control No dark sarcasm in the classroom Teachers, leave them kids alone Hey, Teachers, leave those kids alone All in all its just another brick in the wall All in all you're just another brick in the wall We don't need no education We don't need no thought control No dark sarcasm in the classroom Teachers, leave them kids alone Hey, Teachers, leave those kids alone All in all you're just another brick in the wall All in all you're just another brick in the wall [Guitar] [Part 3] I don't need no arms around me I don't need no drugs to calm me I have seen the writing on the wall Don't think I need anything at all No, don't think I need anything at all All in all it was all just bricks in the wall All in all you were all just bricks in the wall

Everyone who was around back then remembers part 2 being at number 1 for Christmas. The winter of discontent, as it was called. The first winter of the new Thatcher government. I was 10 and the images in the video were stunning- the marching hammers, the obscene monstrous teacher, and most of all, that tyre on a rope in the playground twisting very slowly against Dave Gilmore’s guitar solo. And all at Christmas!

I had to roll up my son's elementary school about every other month. He is a bright, sensitive child. They were a little scared to see me coming with my sharp teeth. Took him out of that police state. They were awful to these kids.

The only thing in the world that no one can take from us is our thoughts and thoughts, be infinite and think infinitely and without limits, awareness is the key to overcoming all limitations, the world is a glorious party that has given me and you a gift. This pure gift should be used in the best possible way, awareness is equal to freedom, this is my way of life in the infinite, so you also try, and be sure that you will be in the highest layers of the universe.

I keep coning back to my favorite album of all time because it personally resonates with me... Ive built such a thick, impending fortress of a wall to deal with my ptsd since childhood...idk if ill ever find a way out. Ive almost completely isolated myself from everyone. I dont make friends and I dont hold onto ppl or possessions, emotionally, because inevitably it all leaves... Im not whining, its just who and what I've built to deal.

When I was in 10th grade I had a teacher who seems to fit this part of the lyrics perfectly: There were certain teachers who would Hurt the children in any way they could By pouring their derision Upon anything we did And exposing every weakness However carefully hidden by the kids This guy clearly had issues. He wanted so badly to be though of as "cool" by us kids and his peers but the only thing that came across was arrogance and spitefulness. He used to wonder why his convertible would always get the roof slashed. He taught chemistry and I wonder how many students over the years were turned off from that field because of him.
