I WAS HERE. Separated from friends in a riot. Wish I could time warp and to go back to enjoy it now!! We were having dinner outside in a Piazza before the concert when there was a burst of people running through the narrow streets into the square… followed by riot police in full flak gear at a dead run. They engaged just in front of us. We all scattered. There was some ungodly number of people in Venice. The trains would pull into the station from all over Italy with people hanging off the outsides…It was a FREE Pink Floyd concert!! stage was floating in the lagoon and the crowd was gathered in St. Marks Square. Absolutely infuckingcredible. So, 20 year old American separated from everyone she knew - before cell phones, wall to wall Randy Italians. This song registered strongly. I remember watching the German shepherds jump off the round video screens being fully mind blown. It was a moment… searching through 50,000 faces for friends… Wish you Were Here hit differently that night. Unforgettable 🇮🇹❤️🎵🎶

i love rock and metal music, but i have a quick question. what is the difference between a grand finale and an encore? all i know is both make the song a little longer. that actually is my favorite part about classic rock and metal they seem to find a way to make already great songs and extend them without being off key or adding anything too different.
