I got clean from heroin in 1984. Kicked a 15yr. run COLD. Would nod out with Pink Floyd(Atom Heart) and would listen to it in my room for days. When I got clean, the song was still in my head. Lasted about 2 yrs. And when that song faded out then led Zeppelin(Stairway To Heaven) showed up and lasted for about a yr. Still clean and sober for over 26yrs. Love PF even more today. Keep on Truckin.

Got my Pink Floyd Jones on in the 70's with Dark Side of the moon grass hash or hash oil stopped smoking grass in January 1983 still get the Floyd Jones at age 69

@@themariusnos I’m relatively young 24 I started to listen to Pink Floyd 2 years ago so it’s a nostalgia for me .by far it’s the best music I ever got the honor to hear , everything is in place a poetry lyrics full of meaning by roger amazing guitar by Gilmore and a solid backbone drum beats by nick and background organ and synth by Richard right everything is in it’s right place and order , yes no one can make this type of music anymore it’s been 40 years since they split and no one to this day filled the space they left behind a 1 in a millennia band

There whole wall album is based off of The Berlin Wall.. the Nazis would kill anyone who would disrespect a woman along with whoever else they want to.. If they (Nazis) catch you in the back seat trying to have sex with her, they will kill you. Go buy the movie "The Wall by Pink Floyd" or read about the Berlin Wall and you will know what the entire album is about. I am 15 years old and this is my all time favorite band, I know the backstory of every single song just off of research and common sense.

All their songs are great! :) Pink Floyd are their own original genre, in my opinion. Nobody could top their style :) their music is so calming but classed as rock. I love them so much, they're my heroes.

dean elmenayer My High School wrestling coach trained us till we threw up till we had nothing left ! The got me two time State Champ in the State of Pennsylvania, He passed away but now in PA. There is the Wetzel Classic.. He produced more State Champs than any other coach in the country ! Training you're ass of for hours makes Champions not a song ! Class of 81'... At Penn St. Three time all American .... Heavyweight my nickname was the Juggernaut lol, till this day they still call me that...

You are no doubt young, compared to the "OLD FOLKS" who heard Pink Floyd when their songs/albums first came out. I doubt you were even born when they first came out !! But, thank you for (if you are "our age" (57 or soooo - LOL) being a "fan" even if you were too young to enjoy from the "get go" as some of us were "lucky" to BE!! FOREVER PINK FLOYD !! I wish I could be a teenager AGAIN in the early 70's. Those were the BEST times!!

Early 90's, this song came out in '79, but I know what you mean, I first heard it I thought it was an early 80's tune, especially with that either chorus or big ass delay effect goin', it sounds like something from '82-'83.
