Their music has this eerie ability to pull thoughts and emotion up from your subconscious. These will be as different for each person as their fingerprints. I suspect the fact you express such an upbeat and positive energy in response to them is a clue to your true nature. Whatever you do, don't let us cynics and pessimists out here bring you down. Consider Pink Floyd as a 'safe place'. Great reaction! Send more Pink Floyd!

You asked if Pink Floyd is still performing live. The Pulse concert in 1994 was the end of their last tour, which covered multiple countries. The last time they performed live was around 2006. Since then, Richard Wright (keyboards) passed away. David Gilmour (lead guitarist and lead vocalist) has performed live (in 2016 at age 70) and possibly since.

"The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say" means life is short, live it without regret.

You obviously enjoyed the song but clearly the message of this masterpiece went right over your head. May I suggest you listen to it again WITH the lyrics...it is very deep and meaningful.

@@justcinnamon7003 The trouble I found with Floyd was you get into the music so much you miss the lyrics. But Dark Side of the Moon should be heard from the beginning.

I love your reaction. I seen them 2 times live and they put on a whole show. It is very hard to explain Pink Floyd to someone because there is little to compare them too. The one thing to understand is they produce concept albums and the songs tie together from start to end, if possible listen to Dark side of the Moon which Time came from. Also read the lyrics as you go along. Thank you for you reaction! Jim

Omg that’s so cool Jim. I tried so hard to explain how great they are but all I could come up with was a burger analogy lol. Only ppl that love them can understand.

🙋🏿♀️ May I suggest The Great Gig in The Sky featuring session singer Clare Torry. 😊 Amazing female vocal performance and 1 of the only Floyd songs that feature a woman. Vocal Dynamics 🤯 that shut me down the 1st time I heard it. It ends the 1st side of the Album and that end note had me paralyzed. 🤣 Took a minute to get up and flip the Album to start side 2. The entire Album is flawless yo! 🤦🏿♀️ And it's at this point I realize 3 Pink Floyd Albums were my Therapist in JHS & HS. 🤷🏿♀️ Along with Queen & David Bowie. 🤯 That 6yrs of doing homework to all their Albums! 🙄 #OldFogieAlert

Have you heard *The Warning* ? They are 3 sisters from Mexico whose cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman went viral in 2014 (22+ million views) and again just last month with another 8+ million on Facebook. They just finished recording their 3rd album and Spector will release a Signature Series bass in the name of the *16-year old* bassist. Try something like Dull Knives or Sinister Smiles or The End, preferably from their channel.

Given your age and the fact that you have kids, this song would have actually hit you at home if you would have listened to the lyrics.

First time checking you out, Comfortably Numb checking out Time, Pink Floyd. You've got yourself a new subscriber. Animated and emotionally intellectual like a mf. The treasure trove that is Pink Floyd is huge. I envy you all the fabulous firsts, that are in your future. Here are a few songs that I'd put at the top of the playlist, if you asked me to make you one. :-) Childhood's End Shine On You Crazy Diamond Sheep WishYou Were Here The Great Gig In The Sky Dogs Pink Floyd is indeed in a solar system of a different universe than ours and the only other solar system in that universe, is inhabited by Tool and should you want to dive into that rabbit hole as well, may I suggest you search "Tool Pneuma Danny Carey" as your first listen and watch. :-)
