As a bi woman born with XX chromosomes and supporting both communities (to a certain degree), the problem I have is when the trans community do not offer the same respect I show them. I'm for equality. NO MATTER the gender - I think there are also biological women (I hate the word cis - it's grammatically incorrect lol) who are pissed at a small few in the transwomen community who do have the hormonal fluctuations (like any pubescent teen experiences) and yet claim they are bleeding and go buying pads/tampons etc. What these transwomen are facing is the general mood swings that accompany a menstrual cycle. However, they DO NOT menstruate/bleed, and neither do they ovulate. They've no use for menstruation products. That's the only bummer for me. Pink taxed items are being wasted. It DOES NOT make them LESS of a woman - I mean, look at Nikki she's amazing! And neither does an XX woman without periods/uterus or have been through their menopause. We don't need to undermine each others' struggles. An XX heterosexual woman (who isn't a trans man obvs) will never understand the struggles of feeling like one has been born in the wrong body. That must be super confusing. It was tough enough for me when I was trying to discover my own sexuality... Yes, of course, there is intersex. However, this is a genetic anomaly. It doesn't make them any less of a woman either!

@@valsonder I suppose it's just that "cis" comes from a Latin word meaning "on the side of" and being that gender IS fluid, saying one is "cisgender" can be seen as offensive as mis-gendering a person. Calling me a cisgender woman doesn't make sense because gender doesn't have a side (wouldn't that be slightly discriminatory)? One can't just look at a visually presenting female nowadays and assume their gender. Various psychologists have put their heads together and defined transgender as encompassing "all identities or practices that cross over, cut across, move between, or otherwise queer socially constructed sex/gender boundaries", including, but not limited to, "transsexuality, heterosexual transvestism, gay drag, butch lesbianism" are just some of the terms. I used to identify as lesbian and to say I was butch is an understatement 😂. I was certainly not cisgender by the terms as suggested above? Can't we just be WOMEN (and for official purposes include with XX/XY chromosomes)? That THEREFORE allows for less discrimination in society, I believe (I might be the only one though 😂). I think it may even help sort the true women with XY chromosomes from the guys who play dress-up for predatory purposes (at least the ones that DO have some accusations and offences against them). That is like saying “a blonde woman isn’t a woman, but she’s a blonde woman and that’s okay” if you can’t support and respect it because of religious purposes that is fine, say that. But if you’re trying to go the scientific route you can’t use the argument “I just can’t accept it” because science is against you on this, not against trans people. We know more about gender than we do about sex and that’s fairly disappointing, considering bigots or just uneducated people use outdated science to fuel the argument that trans women can’t be women because outdated science says gender is what’s in your pants and your chromosomes rather than how you, yourself perceives it. There's nothing wrong with being a trans women (or a trans man for that matter), but the problem is when you start trying to change what women are. I don't see people doing this with men and trans men, but for some reason women have to change what they are to accommodate trans women?

And those same kids who experienced that are now going on the internet and say they regret transitioning or they leave the world because of it(because they were kids and didn't know better) and the trans community attacked them for it. Witch group is protecting a p who publicly said he wants to speak to children without there parents around and they protected him just because he is trans. And attacked a women who spoke out against him and they even destroyed her car and threatened her children. And let's not forget they also attacked a swimmer who spoke out on trans women shouldn't be allowed in women's sports and guess what she got attacked publicly. And putting cis in biological women is quite disrespect we women have and always have been just women and we wont use cis in our name just because a community is being insecure about themselves. You want us to respect your pronounce and yet you don't give that same respect back when we say we don't want to be referred as cis women, breeders, chest feeders etc. And one more thing witch group is taking pills to be able to produce milk and give to babies even though it was scientifically proven that it will hurt the baby and give them cancer. The trans community protected them and even thanked them. While not all of the trans community agree with this and have been speaking out on this, a large majority of them still do.

I am no fan of the whole trans movement. I won't lie about that. Nikki is one of the few who actually tries and is polite and kind. She isn't trying to take anything away from women. She just wants you to treat her how she works so hard to appear. I absolutely respect her. Leave Nikki alone!!!!!
@theeveningcallsforfairies52464 ай бұрын
“She just wants you to treat her how she works so hard to appear.” Yeah, her and every single trans person in existence. Maybe we’d be “polite” and “kind” if we weren’t under constant political attack. You yourself have no fear of proclaiming your bigotry towards trans people, and you expect people to respond to that with kindness?? Do you expect people of color to respond to racism with kindness too?
@SM-ei5im3 ай бұрын
...what are other trans women trying to "take away" from cis women? That's literally what all trans people want. To be respected and treated as the gender they worked so hard to realize they were and come across as to others
@Mel-wn9gb2 ай бұрын
@@SM-ei5imThey don't have that right because it entails sex stereotyping and dehumanizing actual girls and women. Sorry fellas. We don't owe you that.

@@Mel-wn9gb How does someone becoming a woman play into gender stereotypes? How does someone looking up to/respecting women and loving being a woman so much "dehumanize" women? Rejecting who someone is as a person seems much more dehumanizing, tbh.
@Mel-wn9gb2 ай бұрын
@@SM-ei5im Loving and respecting women entails respecting our humanity and our human rights. When you say that a man can 'become a woman' by 'identifying' with the sex stereotypes, roles and expectations typically expected of each sex, as per the definition of 'gender', he's reduced women to a mere abstract concept, idea or fantasy based in the very sex stereotypes and roles that have been the basis of the oppression of women and girls for hundreds of years. That's the literal sex stereotyping and dehumanization girls and women and directly violates our human rights.

WHO CARES!!’ How does what other people identify as bother you so much for?!? How does it affect your daily life ?!? I always find people who are extremely vocal on this matter to be the most suspicious. I am a biological heterosexual woman nor me or my partner could care less. I really don’t get it, why are yall so pressed over what other folks are doing in their own lives?!? live your life and let others live in peace!!
@cassandraanderson33143 ай бұрын
Women are always trying to live in peace and in addition to fighting the patriarchy, we now have to fight a small group of trans women trying to take over women’s spaces that we fought for. There’s something about biological males always wanting to dominate women and are keeping us from living in peace. Nothing against Nikki. I don’t even think that original post is meant for her, she just inserted herself into the drama.

You know I don’t understand trans woman who say they can have periods, or say they want them. It’s problematic, but it’s nice to have them on hand if someone else needs one in emergencies ❤️ and I know a lot of trans women do this, and it’s their way of empathising, and connecting with a sisterhood. They aren’t buying them for themselves they are buying them for their friends. I don’t aspire to be a real woman, or have the above, but I know what she said was just for the likes, and to be provocative, and stir emotion in a group of people who are constantly ridiculed by society 💔 people just say this for clout like JK Rowling. She does it as lip service, and clout which she has done since the first Harry Potter book. As a trans woman nearly hitting her 30s I’ve learnt to ignore stuff like this. It’s as nonsensical as Ben Shapiro’s mouth.
@Mel-wn9gb2 ай бұрын
JK Rowling speaks on this issue because she cares about the rights of girls and women. 'Transwomen' who carry tampons around are doing so for their own selfish reasons, usually fetishistic ones such as a 'sisterhood' fantasy or some other weird fixation. Actual girls and women don't need their help. We know what to do already and can take care of ourselves.

I would really really like to know HOW though? A period is the lining of the uterus shedding. So far, working uteruses are not being transplanted yet (or if they are, it's definitely not widesoread by any means). So if these people don't have uteruses... Where the hell is this blood coming from???? I would be the opposite of euphoric to see blood coming out of my rear end if this were me, I would be fucking WORRIED. Especially because of how much hormonally transitioning can actually fuck up the body.
