Thank you for this video. I was able to use this video for guidance to change the cylinder on a 2014 Silverado.

Great video as I am in the process of replacing one, and I got stuck with missing the step with the retainer. Hopefully I can try this again tomorrow and get this vehicle on the road again.

This vid helped 100% i did have to tap the collar sleeve on.with nothing in the cly it would not slide on.All seems good but dont like the force needed compared to this dude sliding it on. Strattec 7024124 GM Ignition Lock

Strattec 7024124 GM Ignition Lock..2016 sierra bought new,135k,pulled into rest stop,got back in,key would not start to go in.F'd with it,finally took oil from dipstick onto key,got it to go in,giggled until it turned.Giggling would get it to turn ordered part next day.No warning fail.How about you,quick fail? miles?
