Rap has its origins in New York in the early '70s and was popular by the end of that decade. This album was released in '81 so he's actually kinda late to the game. Probably early for Italy though.

Sono del 1968, ricordo che all'epoca questa canzone usciva da tutte le radio, gli autoscontri e i luna park d'Italia. I miei mi fecero capire la genialità dell'interpretazione, il contrasto tra la voce bassa e 'sensuale' del playboy sborone e il 'grillo parlante' che lo avvisava cantato in falsetto. Pezzo immortale
