Going to Tagaytay towards Alfonso Cavite
Tagaytay, one of the famous weekend family destination in the island of Luzon. The weather in Tagaytay is cooler than in Metro Manila because of a higher altitude. It also overlooks the Taal Volcano. Many resorts and hotels located at Tagaytay. Pineapples, convents and fruits also are plenty. Enjoy the weekend at Tagaytay

onga raw alam ko from aguinaldo highway ata yun ang labas mo na sa may rotunda na.. just wondering dun sa junction ng sta rosa-tagaytay and calamba-tagaytay road may landmark ba na madaling tandaan pag pabalik na.? medyo nakakalito kung titignan at first eh. XD

uhm may street sign na nakalagay na dun if sa aguinadlo na yun or sa sta rosa calamba road. Usually yun kapag pa diretso ang sta rosa tagaytay road kapag un paliko yun ang aguinadlo

Nice! God there's no difference with roads here in Indonesia.. The jeepney-kind (Angkot as we call it here), the motorcycles and stuffs...

thank you for the added information! I have checked here on youtube what is Angkot and it is the brother of the jeepney. Do they also stop anywhere they please or driving recklessly?

Yes indeed! we call that habit here as "ngetem", they stopped in the side or sometimes in the middle of the traffic lane just to wait for passengers to enter their vehicle

I have to say this is a very great joyride to take. This is a very impressive place Tagaytay is, especially when it's just not a very far distance away from the mess of Metro Manila (even though it's a rather tranquil suburb of the metropolis). The traffic there is at the point where it starts to get horrendous on some stretches. With you mentioning the area being the place where people from Metro Manila come to visit, all that means trouble with traffic and potentially the pollution that comes with it. I hope something should be done with the widening of the roads because of the exodus coming in from the metropolis on the weekends. Even the mountain roads are rather thrilling because of them being a bit windy. Overall, I saw how nice the place looked with the ongoing development in the area. Just hope it doesn't end up with the mess like in nearby Metro Manila.

+Brian Hudson it is already a mess during holidays and weekends... traffic over commercialization.... I still remember tagaytay as not crowded as it used to be... playing golf with my father eating at josephines etc... hahahahhaa those days... those old days....

dmitrivalencia Now you're telling me. Between the experience you had in Tagaytay then and what's going on there now, you already got the idea on the city's rapid transformation-it may end up like Metro Manila before it's all said and done.

there are people who sell buko pie in the city but I am more particular with Original buko pie because the taste... (this is just my opinion, no intention of promoting a company)
