LOVE IT!

Owning the pint for a few days I have to say I don't like carrying it by the handle and having no good grip on the ends means I use all my grip strength if I pick it up that way just to be sure I'm not going to drop it. Definitely would be a welcome addition to have a handle there. I did 3D print a plate with a bit of an extra lip. I think a cutout like on Ryan's print would be even better.

Motorcyclists have been saying it for years. Lol

I was hard on Jimmy some videos back for not having a reasonable amount of protection for him and his kids. I got hit by two cars, one going across a crosswalk on walk sign and the other was a door dash bastard in a gated community. You just never know what could happen so dress for it. Both times I was wearing a full-face motorcycle helmet and every joint and shoulder were covered in G Form under clothes armor. The stuff is awesome. Never broke a bone on nose dives or cars. My jaws intact because I wear full-face an not those brain buckets that everyone thinks will save their face in a nosedive or random shit.

I've got a question for Ryan; I was checking out your Carbon Shield XR Front Bumper on your website, and you have a customizable option. It would be really cool to see almost like a horn hooking back over your lead foot like a flight fin from the front. Locking in the front foot from coming off the nose, and making tricks a breeze, at least in my head. Haven't seen anything like this, just an idea. . What do you think?

How heavy are you? I’m looking to get one and I thought about the pint but I like faster speeds, does the pint feel slow at all?, does the pushback engage too early? I didn’t want to get the pint and regret not getting the xr

@@truek1ng7 yes actually the push back starts at 14 mph. That is my main complaint with it. Other than that the pint, IMO, is better in everyway. Well besides the Distance. I weigh 165 and I get about 10 miles per battery charge. The tire psi is set at 21 lbs.

Ugh. Who knows. Pushback from late May to mid August so far.

It really depends on your lifestyle and how you ride the board. You can go quite far on the XR due to it's bigger battery but it'll cost you a lot more money. The biggest difference between the two boards is the range. So if you want less range anxiety and want to go farther, get the XR. If you want a smaller and more manageable board that has less range but a similar top speed, go with the pint. In the end, it's your decision bud! Good luck

Check out the fangs bumper from landsurf much better product and price.

@@lukeo85 I’m still waiting on my board so I can’t speak from experience but I’d think Ryan’s fangs are better than landsurf’s bc his wheels are larger and stick out farther. Landsurf’s fangs are smaller which would be less effective on trails or rough terrain. Landsurf is definitely much cheaper though even though they don’t have the integrated handle or mirror.

austin d if you want to ride trails then get smiths bumper. Mind that its 3d printed while the landsurfs one was molded plastic with smaller tire.

Thanks for your feedback! We found that with the XR Carbonshield it is best to ride in a custom shaping mode with the nose tilted up slightly to avoid hitting the wheels on steep turns. The Pint Carbonshield wheels are deliberately placed more toward the top of the board so that they do not stick down as much. If you compare the side view of the XR to the Pint bumpers you will notice the center of the wheel is about 10mm higher on the Pint version. This makes it more possible to maneuver around those tight turns. Riding with extensions on the board takes a little bit of practice and is different then riding a stock board.

Carbon Smith, UK shipping is very high was about to order the side rail guards and it came to well over $100 even with the 15% applied. Try to find cheaper shipping options it’s only light plastics should not be as high as it is. Let UK shoppers know in the comments if you do. Peace

I have the Regular Fangs and the Fang Minis. I like the Fang Minis because they are less conspicuous but honestly, I have not tried them on a real nosedive. Ryan nose dragged the minis when he was on my board and they worked fine on smooth surfaces.

We do make a very nice bumper setup with wheels for the XR. Our wheels are wider and slightly larger so that they work on all types of terrain.

The Pint and XR frames are both made from aluminum. The Pint is more well built than the XR and is an amazing deal at $950!
