Alvaro Castagnet es un acuarelista muy respetado a nivel mundial. Sus pinturas captan la esencia de sus temas con pasión, audacia y elegancia. En esta película viaja a Amberes y selecciona una serie de temas que incluyen una vista urbana, el interior de una cafetería, el hall principal de la estación de ferrocarril, y realiza una nocturna, en el interior de uno de los bares mas antiguos de Amberes.

Alvaro !Es usted mi dios Acuarello! Como puede sacar tanta perfección de ese caos de agua y color espurreado. Desde Málaga mi admiración y Enhorabuena por tanto talento. Me encantaría algún día llegar a pintar la mitad de bien.

Having painted and studied paintings for sixty years, I have seen them all, but this is one of the greatest paintings ever! Could Monet, Manet, Degas or Pissaro have done better; I think not!

hello master alvaro,i litteraly worship your work.do i has to use fresh watercolor from tubes?most of the time i use them when they are dry on my palet.

+mate Nd Alvaro says: "you can work with either, just wet them when you start painting." He always uses tubes.
