I found this video right before I was falling a sleep. I woke up with the intention of giving it my full focus. I am going to school for digital marketing and I am looking for something to grow on the back side of my life. I gave up all of my adult life to facilitate husband's career and my kids well being. Katie you’re the bomb for this video! It’s easy to see this method and be like “this is gonna make me so much money so fast!” But we all know that’s not the reality and I surely appreciate you being upfront about that. I have a toddler and so while this does seem like easy money, it’s gonna take me way more time than someone without kids hahah but watching your video definitely has me leaning in more. You're a very authentic person which I truly appreciate. Genuine marketing, and authentic might take a longer time but it's the most solid process. Thank you really. I found myself always recommending products I tried to all my family and friends just because it might make their life easier as it did to mine and I wanted to start affiliate marketing with that base. That's interesting to know. Like for me my audience always wants to know about the products and tools I use in my business. So I give them my best recommendations of what I actually use. This really works. Like I mention it's not about adding random links and then hoping for the best - if that makes sense :)

Useful and great video ❤ One thing I found really disturbing was that pop up sound accompanying the text. You used it thousend times in the video and it's annoying. Please, skip this effect next time. It doesn't bring any value to your video.

Hey Katie, I'm so glad I found your channel 🙏 I have a few questions about my eCommerce site if that's OK.... 1. I sell pet related products and I'm struggling for blog & freebie (lead gen) ideas. 2. My shopify catalogue pins get very few views / clicks (could this be because Google & Pinterest keywords are different?) 3. I also have a product recommendation page which are Amazon associate affiliate links and need to drive traffic from Pinterest to them....I don't physically have the products to make videos, so would static images work, or do they also need text overlay / CTA? Hey Mel, a bit hard for me to answer without knowing your business but let me try :) 1. Don’t overthink it here. Maybe create 2 freebies to start. Each covering one of your biggest categories. E.g. “10 Best Gift Ideas for Dogs (PDF List)”, or “Bringing Home your New Cat Checklist (PDF Checklist)". 2. Are these images of the product without any context? If so, not getting a lot of clicks is normal. I would create additional pins using the products in real life. Plus, adding a text overlay and a CTA. And then also tagging the product pin in that new pin. 3. Yes static images would work but again I would recommend you create your own pins including images, text, CTA.. Hope this helps :)

I don't have time to check if links aren't working. I just notice which aren't getting clicks.

It seems to me that merchants don't really pay on links posted to social sites. Either that or the social sites rotate and earn from your clicks themselves. I guess they don't consider it your traffic.
