The Anglican "church" is not a church. It is a denomination. It has no priesthood only Ministers of the Gospel as laid down by Cromwell and Cranmer. Dr Welby is not a priest. He is a christian, of sorts, like most protestants.

@@Anon.5216 Hi, The Anglican church is an Antichrist system, that, I'm afraid does not & has never has had ministers of the gospel. One needs to line up the churches doctrines, especially its hierarchy with the new testament. It doesn't even come close, but a system that originates from Babylon via Rome! The new testament does not contain any teachings to establish the above. First of all, the apostles are dead, who only ones given the authority to select elders, no one else was given that privilege. That does not happen now. What we see is now is without authorization from God. The Anglican Church is false, as it believes in apostolic succession, like Rome. The apostles are dead, and the new testament foundation has been laid.

Whatever happens in terms of ecumenism is in God’s hands. He is allowing it. Why are you standing in the way? This anglican agrees with us on 98% of every important issue. As a non-believer this is very attractive to me. I never understood having been forced to grow up going to many different denominations and seeing all the hypocrisy that is taught on stage but is explicitly contradicted in the Bible is one of the big reason I walked away from faith as a whole. As a former medic in the army being disciplined, living by a set of moral principles, ethics, and the rest is the hard thing to do but that’s what really sets you free. I’ll be looking to talk to a priest here in the next couple days and exploring this more because although I’m not a person of faith I believe abortion is wrong, having sex outside of marriage is making young adults see the opposite sex as a sexually object, and so many other things that have been said I agree with. But every time I’ve gone to look deeper into I find the world affecting the church and not the church affecting in the world. If you want to get the non-believer on board keep this up because you got your hooks into at least me very deeply.

Luke I am a convert to Catholicism from atheism. I think it’s important to appreciate that the truth of the Gospel has acquired layers and layers of secular misunderstanding and deliberate antagonism that means it is very obscure to the average young person growing up in the West. What you THINK the Church teaches and who Jesus actually was can be highly distorted by a hostile culture that wants you to assume Christianity has died and is weak and pointless. Quite the opposite. The Power of God’s presence is overwhelming and humbling but in the West we have become so narcissistic and secular we are literally blind to the truth. Ignoring Christ explains why after a few generations of ignoring Him our most basic social mores and relationships are starting to fall apart (healthy heterosexual relationships, marriage, family, working toward a common good etc etc) and many people are entirely lost and treating each other like objects. We were living in the remains of the 1,500 years of Christian culture in Europe and the West and at first we lived off the remnants but now we are becoming unmoored from basic moral healthy foundations and it’s extremely toxic for everyone. It’s still perfectly possible to live a Christian life however and find hope, joy and love and be transformed through the friendship of Christ and other Christians.

@@Apriluser You said that on your OWN authority - there is no way it came from Christ. Our Lord did not found a group of individual Nationalistically minded Churches, Anglican/Episcopalian/Russian Orthodox etc... He is not an Anglican. He founded a Universal Church that He expects us to submit to. Nowhere in Scripture were the people of God permitted to be free-thinking libertarians. Those that sought to contradict God's Will, seeking to wrest power & authority from God's appointed Leaders eg Abraham, Moses, Joshua, The High Priest and now at last the Pope tended to fall apart at the seams and came to a bad end. The Lord keeps the same Methods, and if we obey His Gospel we will abide by Peter as His Chosen PM and Rock. He built His house upon the Rock (Kepha, Petros, Peter) He said not to build the house upon the sand as it would collapse in a heap due to it's faulty structure. Abide with Our Church, Obey the Lord. He is far wiser than us and requests we stamp down our pride and our unwillingness to submit to (sometimes unpleasant) authority. Authority that he has placed over us to bring us to Salvation. Didn't God submit to the authority that He had given His own Old Covenant High Priest to be Crucified? Pick up your Cross and follow ME!

@@Apriluser With all due respect, I disagree, Anglicanism remains alone outside the Apostolic Catholic (or Universal) Priesthood with Priestly Apostolic succession. It is a Nationalistically ordered Community - Christ never intended His Church to be a group of Nationalistic entities. Even those with a full line of Apostolic succession, like the Orthodox. The Russian Orthodox and other validly ordained Priests have retained the original RC Priestly Rite of Ordination but remain RUSSIANS first and foremost and are consequentially placing love of their National identity above the Universal Kingdom of Christ and submit to the Laws governing their State with little or no respect for our Lord's Pope, His High Priest. That should never be done. Christ founded ONE Church, not a conglomerate of Nationalistic Institutions led by rapidly apostate secularist Politicians. One Flock, One Shepherd. One Worlwide, Catholic (meaning Universal) Church. I give respect where it is due, Rev Robinson is a phenomenal Anglican. Very, very Catholic in his training. That is apparent. In all he says and does he IS essentially as Our Lord defines, fully Roman Catholic, but he needs unswerving loyalty to His chief Shepherd first and foremost. Christ has always placed ONE man in charge of all overs. Moses, Joshua, then during the Temple Period, it was the High Priest. He has never been a Democracy, always essentially a Theocracy with Himself as King and Moses, Joshua, the High Priest and now Pope as His Governing Prime Minister. All Monarchs should submit to him. Not commonly known is this. Back in the days of King John in England, the King started seizing Church properties and placing his own Bishops, (who swore loyalty to Himself and not to the Pope) just like Henry VIII did later during the era of the C of E being formed. His popularity as King plummeted at home and abroad due to his conceit, wickedness, unruliness and contempt for the Sacred. An Anti-Christ with total lack of fidelity to the Holy Father. His people revolted against him. The only resolution that sorted out his dilemma was to sign an agreement with the Pope (I think it was Innocent III) that from that period forward no Monarch of the UK could be Crowned without full permission by the Pope. It was a mutually binding Legal Agreement that neither a Pope or a King could end, it could only ever be ended by a future King or Pope BOTH simultaneously agreeing on an end to the contract. To my knowledge that agreement has never been rescinded. I know that Pope Pius V excommunicated Elizabeth I for murdering many Catholics both Priests and Laity during the era of Persecution. It is known that as far as the earlier agreement between the Pope choosing the King of England, the Pope stated that the Stuart Kings, ie James II, James III Bonnie Prince Charlie (Charles III????) and Henry IX were still the lawful Monarchs of the UK. In fact according to an American Book, called "The Historical Sketch of the Second War Between the United States of America, and Great Britain: Events of 1814" the Stuart Line had not ended after Henry IX Cardinal York, a very interesting development if you see what is written here. books.google.co.uk/books?id=b013AAAAMAAJ&pg=PA43&dq=%22Stuarton%22&hl=en&newbks=1&newbks_redir=0&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiI6bfV6ub6AhWZaMAKHf8LAZcQ6AF6BAgMEAI#v=onepage&q=%22Stuarton%22&f=false ..... it is said here, that someone called Count Stuarton inherited the land of Henry IX in a will that seems to have sadly gone astray. archive.org/details/acivilandeccles00georgoog/page/469/mode/2up?q=Stuarton When the UK exiled them, Louis XIV offered them a Palace in France, after the death of King Louis, they held Court in Lodgings in Rome itself. It's a terrible history when you come to think about it. Catastrophic! True French history is just as catastrophic. Not much announced in the MSM, (therefore not generally known) is that there is in in all possibility, a literal direct descendant of Louis XVII, the Dauphin said to have died in the Temple during the French Revolution. It is said he did not die, though was buried in a Tomb with the inscription "Here lies Louis XVII" in Holland having spent a great deal of his life trying to regain his Throne. He spent some time living in the UK also, having suffered many assassination attempts, and finally exiled and forced to adopt the pseudonym Charles William Naundorf. His biography is available to be read in English as he was fluent in the Language. He wrote it himself! (see archive.org) Perhaps this presumed imposter was not an imposter at all? It is possible since one of his direct descendants by the name of Hugues Charles Guy de Bourbon, had his DNA sample matched with a sample of Queen Marie Antoinette's blood (known to be a true sample on a cloth) and Science stated back in 2014 that Naundorfs descendant is related to Marie Antoinette. His DNA sample should not be necessary since Naundorf's direct descendant is very similar to King Louis XVI in appearance. www.linkedin.com/pulse/louis-xvii-france-did-die-1795-his-descendants-live-markeaton-mundy www.lefigaro.fr/actualite-france/2014/03/28/01016-20140328ARTFIG00370-l-enigme-de-louis-xvii-relancee-par-l-adn.php History is rewritten all the time, and people like Count Stuarton, and Naundorff get exiled . @@Charliechorizo Every Catholic and Anglican needs to findtime to study the Traditions of our Church. For instance, many men wishing to marry, choose to be ordained as Anglicans or Orthodox rather than submit to the Celibacy requirement of the RC Priesthood Yet, they should all read Exodus 19:15 🙂The Lord has told Moses to bring the Children of Israel into His Presence when 3 days have passed. In preparation for the event, Moses says that prior to standing in the Lord's Presence they must ALL be apart from their wives and "“ Abstain from sexual relations.” That is perhaps, why Catholic Priests are required to be celibate. Since they are Ministering in the Presence of Our Lord every single day, which Priests, back in the days of the Old Covenant Levitical Priesthood were not. The Old Testament Priesthood Ministered in the presence of the Lord by Rota. There were thousands of Priests and each Priest therefore served for just a few weeks rarely! During that time they lived apart from their wives and lived in Priests Lodgings in the Temple itself. (as can be seen with Zachariah in the NT, He is living apart from his wife at the Temple when St Gabriel appears to him, no doubt obeying the period of sexual abstinence law as written down by Moses in the Book of Exodus 19.) The need for Priestly Celibacy as a permanent requirement (for 2000 years is because they stand in the Lord's Presence every day. Exodus 19 states that is not allowed for any of us who are sexually active. Perhaps there are those Married Priests who sleep apart from their wives after they have come into full Communion with Rome? The Lord is aware and other than evangelising and making people aware that they are inadvertently trivialising Celibacy, there is nothing else we can do but pray! Every Catholic should also, (according to Exodus 19) be celibate for 3 days before attending Mass. TBH it is frankly SCARY what Biblical Laws, trusted people like Luther, Henry VIII and Elizabeth I considered (in pride) immaterial, as they did not respect the RC Church's Historical Teachings and did not value Apostolic Succession. The Lord's Priesthood has ALWAYS been "Sacrificial" where Priests are considered incorrectly Ordained if they are not Ordained to offer Sacrifices. The Blood of our Lord (The Lamb of God) is purely the summation of the Old Testament ritual of our sins being placed upon a Lamb which was then slaughtered in our stead, in order for us to be made once more worthy in the eyes of God to be forgiven our sins. That Daily Sacrifice was continual during the days of the Old Priesthood, and it remains continual in RC Churches today! Nothing changes, nothing alters as Our Lord changes not one jot or iota of the Law. It is simply that He is now the only acceptable Sin offering. The Lamb of God, the spotless, perfect Sacrifice.

I came the the realization that There was a God and it was Jesus Christ wen I was about 24 (I'm 41 now) and it was when I was home alone, watching a KZfaq video by a very on fire kid who explained the philosophy of God and it hit me like a lighting bolt. I fell on my knees and I was also just SO HAPPY about it. There was no more doubt in my mind. I started going to a non denominational church, got baptized and have been involved ever since in some kind of ministry from mens to youth. I have preached, and taught as well. I just can't get enough of Jesus. My life has been completely flipped around since that moment. I love hearing Calvin speak of his coming to faith. That light switch moment is unforgettable. Love Rev. Calvin. I am concerned of the same things he speaks about that are happening to and in the church. The things i am seeing make me cry. I pray they would see that they are practicing sin and to turn away. They have no idea nor do they care.

He seems to be a nice man, but his video with commentary about Catholic-Orthodox comparison and relation (on which he talks to parishioners) is painful to even watch. He misrepresents the Catholic faith so dreadfully that I think - in this case emblematically - that only ideological anti-Catholicism (being himself of former Calvinist background) could explain that mistreatment. Outside of the lecture context, anyone saying many of those things could be said to be unintelligent in theology, which would clearly not be his case. For example, he even dared to say that Catholics “started to believe” from mid-20th century on (clearly he is talking about the Ecumenical Council of Vatican II) that “Protestant baptism” makes them true Catholics, “only without knowing” (he LITERALLY says that), maybe to advocate for his personal view on rebaptizing converts, just maybe, which would be surely contrary to the Church’s teaching of 2000 years and a bad caricature of Catholic sacramentology. Honestly, when I watched him saying that I lost all interest in watching further content, in all due respect.

@Ellie Bradlee Were you rebaptized then? If so, I’m honestly so sorry for you. And I say it in all charity. Not that this random Catholic person is correct (if you seriously consider to know Catholic teachings, then you must go for a higher quality of this inquiry process) but the validity of a performed baptism has nothing to do with the correctness of the teachings (of those who performed it). It’s even settled in Church history. The risk of the position of the radical Eastern Orthodox you probably felt for? The heresy of Donatism and the theology of grace relating to sacramentology. On the theme of rebaptism of heretics, St Cyprian of Carthage lost his theological dispute with Pope St Stephen (even if he arguably did not recognize it later on) and this “theological loss” to Rome paved the way to the Augustinian victory over the later North African Donatists, that (again) misused St Cyprian’s words for their own cause on the theology of grace and sacraments. The position of Cyprian was resistant in North Africa. The Capadocian Fathers had a proximate vision to that of St Cyprian’ strictness, meaning the “lapsi” could be received again but only through performing rebaptisms. But rejecting rebaptism of heretics (unless the level of heresy meant rejecting the baptismal formula both concerning form and matter and/ or rejecting the Most Holy Trinity/ Trinitarian dogma - that is PRECISELY the doctrine of Pope St Stephen that prevailed against St Cyprian) became the dogmatic position of the Church pre-schism. If anything, it means some Eastern Orthodox contradict not a mere practice consolidated with antiquity but a doctrine of faith (sacramentology) established as such. A proof of this is that most pre-Chalcedon Oriental Orthodoxs (< 451 AD) and the pre-Ephesus Assyrian Church of the East (< 431 AD), considered in Christological heresies by the Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodoxy, tend to reject the rebaptism of heretics EXACTLY how the Catholic Church does. That doesn’t mean that if have been someone validly baptized, everything he believed is automatically true. That’s just a terrible strawman. Notice I didn’t say St Cyprian accepted that the Pope St Stephen won. I said that Pope St Stephen’s doctrine in his dispute in North Africa has undeniably won, even consolidated at the Council of Nicea - and that’s it. Would you think it’s fine to go against it? When the great schism happened, the Capadocian Fathers (in this case, particularly St Basil) were used by Greek schismatics to reinterpret their church doctrine’s on many themes, inclusive rebaptism of heretics, to make them as divergent to the Latins as possible (further to what old convergences could have meant). So they didn’t notice thst the particular heretics St Basil the Great dealt with in his texts concerning rebaptism (Macedonianism is a heresy that denied the divinity of the Holy Spirit; they were also called “Pneumatomachi“) denied in themselves the Most Holy Trinity, which reinforces the Catholic position and simply refutes the strict version of the Eastern Orthodox faction, one that probably your priest endorses, my dear friend. The Council of Nicea have dealt with that SPECIFICALLY in two of its canons. And they prove that the position of the Church of Rome prevailed (just like on the Quatrodeciman controversy with Pope St Victor, that the “Synodal Letter” of Nicea established that all the Churches of the East should follow the Roman Easter: _”so that all our brethren in the East who formerly followed the custom of the Jews are henceforth to celebrate the said most sacred feast of Easter at the same time with the Romans”)_ . In *Canon 8* of Nicea, the Ecumenical Council decided that the Novatian heretics (they called themselves the “purists” or the ‘cathari’) - curiously enough, Novatianism was declared a heresy by the Church of Rome using the letters of St Cyprian of Carthage (!) - MUST NOT BE rebaptized when coming to the Church. In *Canon 19,* on the other hand, the Holy Ecumenical Council decided that Paulianist heretics (the followers of Paul of Samosata, also known as “Adopcionists”) MUST BE rebaptized when coming to the Church. What was the difference between one case (Novatianism) and the other case (Adoptionism)? Although both groups were dogmatically declared heretics by the Popes and Ecumenical Councils, Adoptionists had to be rebaptized because they rejected the Most Holy Trinity and their baptism was invalid, and that was not the case with Novatians. For a Catholic not only it is heresy to rebaptize “heretics” without further distinctions but it is also sacrilegious and disrespects the canons and the acts of the Holy Ecumenical Council of Nicea. I’m happy if you are happy with your choice, but don’t cease to investigate, my friend. Hearing opinions is not really the way to go (since people can be wrong on them). Then you will know truth and truth will set you free (John 8, 32). God bless!

I was raised as a Catholic, though a very "secular" one, a heavy sinner, who searched in other denominations of the protestantism, but I never connected really. I tried my best, but it was very superficial and consolation-seeking kind of faith, until something drastic happened. Well that experience was moving, a sin and its consequences, harming others. That severe crisis, that made me look for God, actively. Hence, I found the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Mother Church, the Roman Catholic Church, even in an attacked, abused and betrayed Church, I was able to see, by the Lord's immense Mercy and Grace, the TRUTH. I recognise my life now as a battlefield. I am not wheat, I am weed who was shown the Way. Please pray for me, a wreck, a sinner, a weak man. Now I know which the WAY is. Our Mother The Blessed Virgin Mary had and has to this day a major role in my returning to the Catholic Faith. As a mother, the Mother, she rescued me and took me to her Son Jesus in a moment when I really needed help. And Help came to my heart. God Bless you. "God Love you". @@davidfleb I've always been drawn to theology and spirituality; Christianity in particular. A big reason I've yet to pull the trigger and convert is that all I learned has largely come from protestant teachings, and, no offense if you are a protestant, I've found their teachings very inconsistent with scripture. I first became interested in Catholicism when I started watching Michael Knowles' podcast, and when he came on this show, I became intrigued by the discussions. So maybe I'm a rare agnostic, though I suspect not, but religion is compelling to me, I just have a lot of questions and I don't want to commit to something unless I truly believe, so I listen and study, and try to discern truth. I'm a Christian(Presbyterian) in Sydney who's so thankful to the Lord for how He is using Calvin Robinson and some others. Woke is thoroughly anti-Christian and anti-life: it must be opposed with all the body of Christ rising up to fight the good fight wearing the whole armour of God. I enjoyed hearing your testimonies. This was a warm and thoughtful conversation. Thank you both!

This was awesome. I am Anglican, but what is considered low Anglican. Previously I was in the Netherdutch reformed church, but walked away because of a change in theology. Christ is on the throne and the true church His bride will prevail.

Anglican Catholics pray the rosary constantly; they are firmly devoted to her, perhaps more than Romans. Eastern Orthodox call her the Theotokis, Mother of God, and also pray rosary. Iv’e been in all three. The Anglicans have prayer before the Blessed Sacrament on most days and 24 hr. Adoration. Silent retreats to encourage contemplation, The. interior Castle, evelyn Underhill, John of the Cross, etc. eastern Orthodox give Communion to Infants which I l ove. They grow from day 1 into surety of Jesus in the hypostasis Of the Blessed Sacrament.

Shocked to hear Rev. Calvin prays the Rosary, and everyday too. Then again, not surprised. The Blessed Mother will always lead you to Her Son. The good Rev is so filled with so much graces, it oozes from every word he says. Dude's gonna be a Catholic soon

His heart is very much in communion with rome. I heard him say once, he would come to the Catholic Church, but it seems she does not want him (one of his talks got cancelled in London it seems. He feels he would have no backup by the english bishops, and he may be right about that)

Anglican Catholics have been praying the rosary for hundreds of years. Calvin had a huge fight with the Church of England when they refused to ordain him because he's a conservative, he joined the Free Church of England, a GAFCON Anglican Church. Had he wanted to become a Roman Catholic he would have at that point. BTW I am a former Church of England Anglican who is now a Roman Catholic

Per Pope Leo XIII, he's not a reverend: Pope Leo XIII, Apostolic Constitution Apostolicae Curae, nn. 35-36: "...we pronounce and declare that ordinations carried out according to the Anglican rite have been, and are, absolutely null and utterly void."

@@littlerock5256sure, but Pope Benedict XVI established the ordinariate as an avenue to communion with Rome. Hopefully the Lord will make a way for him through that avenue while preserving or renewing the reach he's already having if that's His Will

Very encouraging to see this interview. Where sin abounds, grace abounds all the more. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, Even Aaron's beard: That went down to the skirts of his garments; ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭133‬:‭1‬-‭2‬

Rev.Robinson is a lovely man. I’m so glad that he is unvaccinated. That tells me a lot about his good character. I’ve gone from being an Anglican to an atheist but since the clear evils of 2020 and the WEF I am getting very interested in Roman Catholicism.
