She's one of my favorite owners, honestly. Yes she's clearly ditzy - but she's open and honest and sincere-and shes confident. I wish I could make that kind of eye contact with people 😅

There’s something quite wholesome about this episode, The owner comes across as stupid at first and hasn’t got a clue but that is mostly because the chef has gaslighted her and she is uncomfortable in her own restaurant. After Gordon gets her to find her voice, she is passionate and comes out of her shell. Great episode

I don't understand how the camera crew is able to keep the cameras steady and not laugh their asses off.

This lady tried her hand at the wrong industry. She would've been great as a counsellor. Because actually she exudes calmness, positivity, and happiness.

I personally think Rishi was one of the all-time sweetest owners. She might have been clueless at first, but she got over it once she gained a little knowledge and her confidence grew, Liked her a lot.

Candice is probably the smartest waitress in this show. She refused to taste the oyster because she knows it's not fresh.

I LOVE this owner! She's so warm hearted and innocent. Gordon helped her see she could do it and gain her own confidence back.

I feel so bad for her - it’s like she’s in a toxic, abusive relationship with this chef. The things he said about not finding anyone better or who will take on the pay she’s willing to give. The gaslighting. Happy to see how compassionate Chef Ramsay was towards her. Poor thing.

I love hearing Gordon say “I’m here.” because he’s genuinely sincere and sometimes all you need to hear from somebody is that they’re going to be there for you and actually mean it. I’ve been let down so many times after hearing those words so I find it really refreshing to see that there are some people in this world that actually mean what they say.

The episode that almost broke Gordon, everytime he talked to the owner at the beginning, his eyes widened a little bit more with how little she knew about owning a restaurant yet somehow having one.

That chef rocky is possibly the worst chef that's ever been on the show. Purely because unlike all the other ones on this show he seemed to know exactly what he was doing wrong and how bad it was, and was only doing it because he knew he could get away with it. That's not incompetence, that's malice; that's far worse.

The image is Gordon saying "I'm sorry, but I cannot help you" before performing a continuous cartwheel right out of the building is too much for me to handle.

Gordon is an icon. He doesn't sweet talk anyone and call out the owners and chefs of each episode. Absolutely love him. Fun Fact : Every time I hear Gordon talking about overcooked food, especially pasta, I think of my brother who adores overcooked pasta.

I like her. She talks like a sitcom character. I never thought people actually talked like that irl. But I like that she doesn't get agressively defensive like most owners. Funny and sweet woman. And this is one of the most entertaining episodes to watch

It's amazing how Gordon can so quickly scan through a menu and quickly identify the dishes that most efficiently test the know how of the chef/s and the restaurant's 'process' for fresh food etc.

honestly i love how soft ramsay got when it came to giving her comfort… it just shows that he can balance being a great chef but also being a great listener and person.

Although chef Ramsay can have a gruff exterior at times, he really seems like such a genuinely wonderful and caring man. Chef Ramsay is a rock star, and the transformations that take place while he's at the helm are remarkable!

The way she turned herself around was impressive , wish her luck.

In the weeks that followed, the new improvements were a big hit and Rishi felt in control of her restaurant again. The changes Gordon made were met with a mixed response. Both Yelp reviews and Trip Advisor reviews show both regulars preferring the old menu and new customers loving the new look and new menu. WHAT HAPPENED NEXT: Rishi sold to the restaurant to Brenton Holland in 2016 who kept the name and decor but focused on selling steak and whiskey. Prohibition Grille closed in July 2017! Rocky opened his own restaurant called Ole Soul Southern Creole and reviews were good prior to it's closure in September 2017. Abbott’s opened in the space of Prohibition Grille in 2018 and reviews are excellent.

Might be the textbook definition of room temperature IQ, but at least she had a good attitude and was willing to listen.

The owner has got to be one of the MOST genuine, open and willing to learn individual on this show ever. She takes all the negatives and rolls with it, takes suggestions, asks a LOT of questions of Ramsay to clarify what she should be doing. She's one of the few that is honestly taking everything she can from Ramsay's kitchen wisdom.

Rishi the owner is kind of stupid but has a lovely personality....She's the sort of person who would show up unannounced to your house but would bring you cookies. The cookies would make you sick but she would compliment your house but accidentally break something. She would love what you did with your new bathroom, but would clog the toilet. She would pet your dog, even though you don't have a dog. She would be polite to your neighbours but would then proceed to belly dance out in front of their house.🤦‍♂️

This was the first full episode I watched on TV as a kid with my family. Good times😌 *Also my mom always thought chef rocky was definitely sleeping with rishi and holding their relationship against her which is why she kept him so long👀*

Definitely one of the most naive owners on this show. But Rishi really is a sweetheart, and I hope she is doing well.

I love the waitress who serves Gordon in this episode. Her smile is everything!! Also though, where was the montage of the relaunch? We got like 2 seconds of people being served and I wanted to see Rishi run her restaurant like the boss she has become!!

One of the best episodes. A clueless owner being taken advantage off by a lazy chef. All she needed was a kick in the rear and some guidance and support. Great staff too.

So since this show, the restaurant got mixed reviews, old clients preferred the old menu while the new customers loved the new menu. In 2016 Rishi sold the restaurant and the new owners kept the name, but shifted focus to selling steaks and whisky. That lasted for some time but the restaurant did eventually close down for good in July 2017. Rocky opened his own restaurant, but that closed in the September of 2017.

People conflate stupidity with ignorance. This woman isn't stupid just ignorant of some crucial facts like "soup de jour". Many people are raised to believe that societal life is not complicated and everything will be served to them on a platter. Then they try to operate alone in the world and the slaps keep coming. She is a grown up little princess, perhaps spoiled from her parents that she's just beginning to understand the world. She has a great heart though and that's a great asset. This will eventually be appreciated by most people around her (and it shows) and that's going to be good for her longterm. Hope she's doing well.
