Yes, you have three color adjustment options: Preset, Custom, & Scan. Only the third option will change continuously. The preset & custom options will stay the single color you select or create at all times. HTH!--Crutchfield

The "Subwoofer" option shown in the Pioneer display is for the selectable Rear/Subwoofer pre-amp output. I just had this installed in my 06 ford fusion sel v6 awesome stereo I'm in love with it I like the the light up display and really loving the Bluetooth I already have my iphone5 synch to it so I've been playing my music and already making calls on it very well done product I give it 10/10 on everything

The Pioneer will allow up to 3 Bluetooth devices to be paired with it. If the radio says "Device Full" you will need to delete one of the previously paired deivces. The process is very similar to adding a device but you will select "Del Device" from the connection menu and select one to be deleted from the list. Once one of the three slots is available, you should be able to pair your new device. HTH!--Crutchfield

The built-in Bluetooth will work with any phone that offers Bluetooth and supports HFP (Hands-Free Profile) & A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). Most any 12" subwoofer will require an external amplifier to supply the proper wattage. The Pioneer's rear pair of pre-amp outputs can be set to a non-fading subwoofer output for supplying bass frequencies to an amplifier. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield

This stereo is awesome. For the price you cannot find another head unit with this many options. I have used everything from the Bluetooth integration with my android phone to the ipod direct connection and the handsfree phone calling. Everything is perfect. And you can make the display any color you like. I used the custom feature to match the illumination color to the rest of the lights on my dash.

You will find this process on page 10 of the Pioneer owner’s manual: Press & hold the phone button to display the connection menu. Turn the Master Control knob until “Add Device” is displayed. Press in on the M.C. knob to begin searching for compatible devices. This is the time to have your phone in Bluetooth pairing mode. Once found, turn the M.C. knob to highlight your phone and press in on the knob to select it. If you phone asks for a PIN code, the default is “0000”. HTH!--Crutchfield

The bluetooth microphones connect with a 3.5mm connector on both models so you can likely retain your existing one (Although the FH-X700BT come with it's own mic). The iPod A/V cable is not required for the FH-X700BT as it is not a video unit. You can use the USB cable that came with your iDevice for connection to the new unit. I currently have the Pioneer App radio installed in my recently purchased 2007 Explorer Sport Trac...I-pod cable and Bluetooth mic are installed...I use a Motorola Atrix 2 phone, so the apps are useless to me. If I were to purchase the FH-700BT can I use the existing cable and mic?

Do you need to purchase an accessory to use the hands free calling? JVC offers a radio deck... its an HD radio, but for the bluetooth phone option you need to purchase a $80 jack which is another radio in itself

+James C I cannot find any information on this in the manual or our details. I think its because Mixtrax uses the display for part of its light show, but I cannot confirm either way. If you purchased it from us, I recommend giving our technical support a call to see if they know of a method to make it stay. A Double DIN chassis model (like this Pioneer) would be a direct size replacement and not require a special mounting bracket in your Camry. BT audio only playing from a single speaker is unusual an indicative of a problem with the stereo or the wiring harness. Because you've already installed the unit, hopefully the proper harness was used for connection to the stock wiring. Depending on the original factory system (basic 4/7 speakers, Premium Rockford Fosgate) a different vehicle harness would be recommended. Love it. Only problem is, PennDOT ( PA's road service) Don't do thier jobs, so the area i live in has potholes/bumps/cracks everywhere. I've went through 2 Dual head units, and they skipped like crazy. I'm playing music from my phone out of my cupholder right now. Is this thing going to skip like crazy? I've never had a skipping problem with a Pioneer. I had one of thier cheaper ones, and i blew out both my right tires and bent the rims on an 8" pothole at night and even then it didnt skip

Im in the market due a new stereo system for my Mercury mountaineer 2000 and i saw this one on your site and love it. But i do have a few questions. 1) will it fit properly with out a mount. 2) will i be able to use the steering wheel controles on on the stereo? 3) will i be able to use the cd changer with the new stereo? 1) The Pioneer will fit your vehicle with a mounting kit that we’ll provide, free of charge, with your purchase of the stereo: bit.ly/1gIqgHK You’ll also need to modify the factory sub dash in order for any Double DIN stereo (like this Pioneer) to seat flush with the dash. 2) The factory steering wheel controls can be retained with an adapter: bit.ly/1k9BwOS The adapter is not required to install an aftermarket stereo but the factory radio controls on the steering wheel will no longer function without it. 3) No. The factory CD changer cannot be retained when an aftermarket stereo is installed. Keep in mind; the Pioneer offers a USB port for connecting iPods, iPhones or USB mass storage devices; each of which can hold a lot more music than a factory CD changer can. José Policarpo Yes. The bet solution is to reset the unit to factory default. You can do this by disconnecting the harness from the stereo or disconnecting your negative battery terminal for about a minute or so.Hope that helps!--Crutchfield

Double Din chassis models (like this Pioneer) are not a recommended fit in the 1999 Blazer. Both the FH-X700BT and the newer version (FH-X720BT) are a recommended fit in your 2005 Chevy Trailblazer (You'll have to remove the stock stereo's rear support bracket to provide enough mounting depth). . Many factory DVD players cannot be retained when the original factory stereo is replaced. This does depend on the specific vehice though. As you mentioned, this Pioneer does have a front-panel auxiliary audio input for connecting external audio sources. I installed the stereo, and every time i start my car it asks me if I want to set up, and never saves the settings. Also, the option to change the colors was there my first time going through everything, but now the option to change colors isnt even there.

That definitely sounds like the 12volt constant lead (yellow) is not connected properly. This lead provides constant power for the stereo to retain the memory settings (clock, audio adjustments, radio presets, etc.). If this lead is not connected the unit will reset to factory defaults every time the vehicle is turned off. You may want to pull the stereo and check the harness connections. Pay extra close attention to the Pioneer’s yellow power lead and be sure it’s connected properly. Hope that helps. --Crutchfield
