They are fantastic wee cars, take the magnet out and have more fun. 👏👏 They do plain body’s for us to paint.

I had this slot car when I was little, at that time I bought it with my stepfather... In the 88's,,, the price used to be 150,000, now the price is 1.5 - 2.5 million, a fantastic price for a set of slot car toys

I wouldn't let the size throw you off as this is a must for any racer or collector and I would hate for you to not buy it due to size only

Thank you for the excellent review! There is a Carson 500707130 Digital Plug Scalextric (EasyFit) for Carrera which plugs in directly to the DPR socket of the car and it is ready to run on Carrera tracks without any modifications.

These little Legend cars are fantastic. I’ve got close to 20 of them & can’t get enough. Pioneer have also released white kits so you can paint & build your own design. Great review. New Subscriber from Melbourne 🇦🇺. PS. Love the track!

Firstly thank you for subscribing I really appreciate it. And I don't blame you for having 20 of these, it would have to be one of my favourite slot cars, I love walking in my manshed putting this on my track and putting down some hot laps as this car always puts a smile on my face

Wow never knew these were in the UK. I am going to have to look into these. Incredible detail and performance. The reason they went scalextric is because carrera is not easy to get in the UK. Great review! 👍👊

Thanks for your great review. The car certainly looks excellent and seems to go fairly well too. I noticed that you didn't put up a lap time for this car. It would be interesting to know what it does both with and without the magnet.

There is a Carson digital decoder for Carrera digital tracks that Comes on its own DPR panel for DPR ready cars,so no cutting or drilling required You running a Evolution analogue control unit to test the car?

I run both digital and analogue but for this review I ran analogue. That is really good info your provided mate regards a Carrera Digital chip to suit. Thanks 😊

Yep. Since this car has no headlights or taillights, installing the Carson chip will be super simple - one screw and one plug. No drilling or soldering needed. Done!

slot cars are a thing of the past rc cars or even racing hotwheels on an unslotted track are more exciting than slot cars - old tech

@@thatslotcarguy Just popped up on my screen - took a look - did not watch the whole video - tracks we used to race on had 10 or 12 slot cars racing at the same time - huge tracks - used to rewire motors to get higher speeds all kinds of stuff - well we were kids then back in the 50's

Sorry I took some time to get back to you. So the answer is a partial yes. The CARSON chip comes attached to a DPR base, it will fit but you will need to trim two little tabs for it to fit perfectly. Would you like me to make a quick video on it
