Looks like a sweet table, a little clean and it should be alright. Let's hope all the electronic parts are fine too. I wish i knew how to fix turntables, would be easier to get into older turntables. I used to have some old turntables.

I inherited the same model yesterday... took it apart to clean with deoxit.... now having a tough time putting it back together! with the plastic on'/off mechanism underneath.... I keep hearing a "snap". Looking forward to your disassemble and reassembling of your unit. Hoping it resolves my issues!

Looks better than a techniques i ordered. The woman dropped it off at ups to be boxed, needless to say they didnt remove the platter or secure it, it was trashed when it arrived. Jaw droppingly trashed. 😂 It went from her fathers pride and joy turntable to the landfill in 3days flat.

Goodwill is a good place to get one used. They package them up correctly as I've gotten three of them.

@@VinylRescue Yes it was, a total waste of a beautiful table. The photos showed that it was mint not even a scratch on the dust cover. It had the floating plinth and a solid platter. It was absolutely destroyed. Ups bubble wrapped it and threw it in a box. The platter acted like a 5lb wrecking ball. It had a Shure cart on it and of course it was destroyed.

@@trailtimeszr250 Unfortunately what most people don't realize it that you the customer need to properly package it for shipment since not everyone at UPS will do the job right! There are several good videos on how to pack and ship a turntable. I've had two viewers send me their turntables for mods and upgrades they did it correctly. I would NEVER trust UPS or FedEx to pack a turntable for shipment! Goodwill does a good job as I've bought a total of four of them from different parts of the country and they all got here with no damage.

@@VinylRescue Exactly what i asked the person i purchased it from. I was just floored when she said she just dropped it off at ups. Live and learn. I purchased a new project xpression 3 with the acrylic platter and a orto blue new from Needle Doctor, and have been afraid to purchase a used table that ships. I looked on goodwill but didnt see anything that wasnt sketchy

How do you adjust the speed? Dots are moving to the right

Hmm, the service manual talks about connecting the TP3 and TP4 terminals of the control assembly to the inputs (CH1 and CH2) of a dual trace oscilloscope? I've never had to adjust mine as it's on target. It does have two adjustment holes in the bottom of the plinth to adjust the motor.
