Awesome explanation! Question: can't we just multiply unit size by .0001 or .01 respectively? E.g., Mini Lot or 10,000 units x .0001 = $1, Micro Lot or 1,000 units x .0001 = 0.10. So if I had 5.5 Mini Lots of GBP/AUD, or 55,000 units, it would be 55,000 x .0001 = 5.5AUD per pip

In my eur/usd pair whose spread is 8.....for eg, i have 20$ deposit in my account, i will buy eur/usd in 1.18000 to my take profit target 1.18100 with 0.05 in my mt4 platform.....so what is my total pips and what will be my total return....i still dont know.

Say you use 100X leverage, So your position is worth 2000$ which is equivalent to 2 micro lots. So movement of 1 pip would give you a profit of 0.2$ Pip is the fourth place after the decimal so you made 10 pip profit that is 2$.
