I just realized that her powers are the most OP of all the sisters. Within a certain space around her she was able to stop any form of movement, even the movement of sound.

Prue would of develop a more powerful power than Piper If Prue was still alive, Oldest = Strongest, Telekinesis isn't Just about throwing ppl around it's much more powerful than that, Look at what Prue did in the future with just a wave of her hand

@@dreamyxfairy it was stated in the show multiple times, the oldest is the strongest, probably you missed that, in the episode "which Prue is it anyway"the demon Gabriel wanted to kill a first born witch to regain his power because they're the strongest so he went after PRUE HALLIWELL, Piper can blow things up sure but if Prue did not die and got that power in the future there is no way you would of say that Piper is stronger than Prue, even in the episode charmed again Piper mentioned Prue was the strongest which we all know, it makes sense having the oldest been the strongest in allot of way

@@jo_imsolazy1487 I happened to start watching this show by accident. My boyfriend at the time had been on his PlayStation for hours and the he suddenly got too sleepy to play. He turned off the tv and went to bed (he slept for like 16 hours) and the tv was left on CW. Well it was an old episode of charmed and I was like..what the?? Then the next episode was a new episode (I started watching it in season 8). I was hooked. I told my boyfriend that I was monopolizing the tv every week to watch Charmed. Years later I still watch it even if it is on cable -commercials and all.

Season 3 has by far my favorite display of Piper's powers. I only wish that they were able to keep the "blinking" ability, because that would have been super handy.

His character was a little inconsistent… Sometimes he froze permanently, sometimes he was able of adjusting, sometimes he didn’t freeze at all throughout season 3 and 4 and I’m talking about his time as belthazor.

In my fanmade stories Piper in her older age can rewind time (only by a few seconds at first, then advancing into minutes. Hours drain her and to go back days she needs the power of 3 to amplify.

Yes! I definitely thought that as watching season 4, “wow piper really has taken the role of the powerful oldest sister, very mature and in control”. It’s a shame given the circumstances but it all glided very nicely throughout the show. She took leadership very well

i think so. Im not sure why, but i think the role of the eldest charm one is about having all the power. And i wont lie, there is something more natural about piper being the elder sibling. It could be that she has the wisdom of being the middle sister but Piper as the older sibling, seems more natural. i would rather want piper as my oldest sister.

They messed Phoebe completely. Prue was suppose to get levitation because an upgrade for moving objects was to move herself. And Phoebe had to get Astral Projection because of her premonitions and how she could astral project inside of them; like she did in that gypsy episode. Finally Empathy was used like a copycat power for no reason, when in previous seasons Prue had a struggle with that power for 1 episode. It was a logical upgrade for Phoebe to have Premonitions, Astral Projection and Empathy, all 3 mind related powers. But, of course, if she can sense feeling that she can sense the demons way before they can do anything, so it takes away all the fun of the show.

Imagine if piper developed the ice power in the later seasons, she would have been the most powerful sister even including Prue bc the combustion is insane enough. She could freeze and blow up any victim. It has the same sound as her regular freezing so it's obviously connected so it makes sense she would get it

It actually is a natural evolution of her powers, It's called molecular inhibition. Pipers regular freezing power, rather than slowing down molecules seems to hold molecules in place. She doesn't remove kinetic energy, we know this because bullets and arrows resume trajectory when the freeze wares off, although she demonstrated some control over that in season 6,not to mention things remain stationary in the air and water holds in place rather than turning to ice. The power that she demonstrated as a warlock, molecular inhibition, slows down molecules completely, and since people are made of largely water, the subject crystalizes. While I like the combustion power, you'd think her powers would advance in one direction before reversing course.

@@buterafirevocals8177 I've seen some of the comics, not alot. I did like Pipers molecular acceleration ability. Much more versatile. I've actually spent quite a bit of time over the years thinking about the different ways the sisters powers work, but I was always fascinated by the intricacies of pipers powers. For example, did you realise that Pipers powers don't work on air molecules. Think about it, if she froze air molecules, she and her sisters wouldn't be able to move, or breath. What if she could though. She'd essentially be able to create walls of solid air, in other words, force fields. Or what if she could reverse her power, and turn it inwards, slowing down the things around her by speeding herself up. There's so many possibilities.

@@iainwhite8617 well when the sisters go to a certain dimension, their powers are maxed out and she can blow up many ppl at once and was able to revert magic soldiers to their original forms with her mind (molecular reversion?). Season 9 piper was able to use her regular freezing power to stop rain so it got stronger definitely and in the dimension phoebe could fly but the magic soldiers didn't have emotions so she couldn't use her empathy to kill them

And also season 9 Prue was able restrain paige from moving and even orbing and lifted a car with her mind, lift chalk off of the ground and make it explode so she got a lot stronger bc in season 1 she needed her power to be tripled in order to lift a statue so in basically 4 years counting season 9 of her powers growing made her insanely stronger so just imagine if she stayed alive from seasons 4-8 her power would be even stronger and basically at the explosive telekinesis level BUT she then got amped by the nexus of the all and got even stronger and used telekinesis to slice beings in half and fly and turn shax's blast into a butterfly but to be fair she was VERY amped

In theory, I have nothing against Piper's explosive power. After all, it is a directly lethal power, which therefore effectively complemented their panoply of gifts. The problem is that this power has considerably impoverished the series. Before this power, the three sisters had to tap into the culture of witchcraft to find solutions to defeat demons. After that, no more creativity: Piper raises her hands and explodes the demons. Boring. In that sense, although it may be the most cheesy, for me the best season is the first. An individual power for each sister, the power of three, and a book to learn from. This is where the best episode resolutions happened: using the power of Fatima's hand, breaking a mirror, bringing their ancestor back, overcoming their fears, creating clones of themselves, breaking a pact, etc etc

I totally agree. The first 2 years were more authentic and darker. Later it became more about special effects. Demons looked like regular people with suits, without personality in them. 10 of them could be vanquished just with Pipers hands. The powers of the sisters could be progressed differently. Also I was sick about Cole... His story with Phoebe lasted toooo long... All the time he was vanguised and he returned again.
