Dowland's "heavenly touch upon the lute doth ravish human sense." - Richard Barnfield
English renaissance composer John Dowland's Piper's Pavan and Galliard played on modern piano.
These dance pieces were originally written for lute and later transcribed for keyboard. This was found in the Drexel 5612 manuscripts.
