Similar thing happened here, I'm so scared to roll monarch. I feel like ppl are super critical of bad or clueless tpow players. I got wooled as mayor, only won cuz witch didn't select a second target. This monarch knighted 3 evils with a few basically confirmed townies alive.

@@odie8307 Deputy/pros are high priority targets once they reveal. Mayor is high priority too, but with the sheer raw voting power, there's a balance to make a knighted mayor stupidly good.

The Monarch made a bad knight by knighting you in the first game, so you returned the favor in the second game, using the Dreamweaver and Voodoo combo to give others bad nights

The way Hex works in ToS 2 is one of my favorite things about the game. Hex in ToS1 got the book second making hex bombs hard to hit, but in this game, town may not even realize it’s a hex game until it’s too late. Townies now have to find which coven is hex if it exists rather than simply who is coven.

I came to the same kind of conclusion regarding evil patterns. Since it's possible to identify someone every time if they don't have anonymous mode on, I've gotten into the habit of fake claiming a lot of different things. My go-to is psychic for all any because the odds of not hitting an evil are so low, but the only thing I don't end up claiming is town power.

I had a game where a jester asked for tp/lo day 1, and claimed prosecutor. A dead cleric had in their will that they visited them, and a lookout claimed that no one visited the jester. I said that the lookout claim was probably a jester, though the actual jester pushed me super hard, and for some reason town kept believing them, despite the fact that they lynched an admirer (me) d2 without giving them a chance to propose.

Well the issue is that roles are random. Even with scrolls, that only increases the chances of getting a specific role. Let’s say he plays 10 games a day in order to get good 2-3 games for a video (not dying N1 for example). Plus it’s mostly All Any so the large cast of roles (and most being non-unique) makes it hard to get a specific role, for a GOOD video.
