I need to install nrv for my home. There is 4" pvc pipe coming out of my bathroom into a inspection chamber, which is connected to an outlet pipe of 6" to the road drainage. Road Drains overflow during rain and water enters the bathroom. What type of nrv valve I should opt for. The depth of inspection chamber is only 1" about from the 4" pipe and 0" from 6" pipe. Dimension is 2"*2"*2" for the inspection chamber.

Dual plate NRV is spring loaded. For vertical piping dual plate NRV can be used, if flow is upward.

For compressed air, dual plate NRV is the best.

Can we use a NRV in an underground 4" sewer line ? Want to block reverse flow of very heavy rain water.

Yes, NRV can be used inside a pit or chamber so that valve maintenance and gasket replacement will be possible.
