It's a good job that Ross is a big guy, and can look intimidating if he has to, because ANY slum/ghetto/hood can be dangerous. A shorter or skinnier man could be looked at as a victim or as prey by predators. (Obviously being a larger and more muscular man isn't any guarantee of being invulnerable anywhere in the world, but I do believe that it can deter potential predators).

@De Profundis I know that I sometimes have a tendency to write long comments so if you are being sarcastic I don't mind and I understand that I can write long and boring comments, but if you are being serious I should explain that I have no experience or knowledge of anthropology, but I was going by my own observations and personal experiences.

@JackBetts55
@JackBetts55 6 жыл бұрын
It's in that state because of big western oil companies making money in the poorest parts of the world where they know no one will hold them accountable for the mess they make. As for your stupid comment about "having more kids" it's due to lack of birth control because no one can afford it and the reason they can't afford it or even food is because the government is corrupt and allowed itself to be sucked of all its natural resources by western oil giants.

Sorry, still not my problem. I'm in the UK and I struggle to feed my kids. I have no ability to help. And our government shouldn't be handing out millions of pounds of aid when there are upwards of 10 million people in our own country who are in poverty

@Topgear2006 3 жыл бұрын
Same with the US as well. Even when we do send 100 of millions they only go into the pockets of there government instead
@JamieR1988
@JamieR1988 3 жыл бұрын
@@Topgear2006 Exactly!! The money never goes where it's supposed. What we should do is take as much money as we can, on a 1 time offer, and build hundreds of thousands of housed, with large gardens, and running water. And make a governing body to look after them. That way there's no actual cash that can be stolen or used as bribe money. And then no one can complain about having no home as they'll be given one, they cannot complain about being thirsty, as there would be running water and no complaints about hunger because the people whom are given houses would have large gardens to themselves all fenced off that they could grow veg and fruit and raise chickens/turkeys/ & maybe lamb and also even a dairy cow or 2. That would genuinely solve all their problems and neither the UK nor America would have to fork out more billions of dollars/pounds. As I said in my original comment, I struggle to feed my kids. Don't get me wrong, they have 3 decent meals each day. What I meant was that because money is so tight, I struggle because some times I go 2 days with any food, just so they can have. And most nights I end up just eating what is left on their plates. I shouldn't have to struggle like that, not in 2020/21. Because our economy is being run into the ground by incompetent morons who believe handing out money abroad and spending millions of pounds on rainbow signs and transgender safe bathrooms, is somehow more important than funneling money into growth to create more opportunity. With more opportunity I could apply myself to a better job and/or a decent trading course. The main reason companies refuse to hand out apprenticeships to over 21's is because the government won't fund it when people are that age, and companies don't want to pay the £100,000 average to train someone for 4-6 years. But as I said, if we took that £19.3 million pounds the UK government spent on posters, bathrooms and metal signs that say stupid things like "LGBTQ welcome" They could of instead funded 1,900 people's apprenticeships and got 1,900 people earning a great wage, and in turn giving the money back in taxes, which would give the government the money back to fund another 1,900 people and you'd start a circle that could see tens of thousands of struggling people in their 30/40's get out of poverty and into the lower middle/middle class and be happier, and their kids happier and overall a happiers society. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, but either way, the system shouldn't be helping people abroad or paying for tens of thousands of immigrants, it should be paying for people born here so we can all grow up to become functional members of society who in turn help the next person down. And yes, that applies to all colours/cultures/religions etc, before someone call me a white supremacist like they did before!! (Not you)
