In the Great State of Hawaii, a creature would exist that defies all known science. This animal, an unholy union of a Piranha and an Anaconda, would begin stalking the jungle after nearly 20 years of going dark. As a group attempts to survive, we have to ask ourselves, what the crap is this thing and how did it even form in the first place? Well, me being the ridiculous person that I am, will attempt to explain it.
Thank you for watching Roanoke and I hope you enjoy Piranhaconda simply DEFIES All SCIENCTIFIC EXPLANATION

Taxes are based on the total profit of the studio iirc so every so often you'll get stuff like this where the whole point is to just lose money as a write-off, make yourself the director and hire a bunch of your friends for inflated contracts and it covers all your bases: the studio gets into a lower tax bracket and the actors get paid

This Movie, Jurassic Park, Tropic Thunder, Jumanji, Hobbs and Shaw, King Kong, Jungle Cruise, and a whole bunch of other Hollywood Movies that needs Tropic/Jungle filming were shot here on the Island of Kauai. I recognize almost all of the locations in this Movie and it’s funny because the “deep in the Jungle” scenes are almost off the side of the road or in the Garden Area at the Hotel they were probably staying at. 😂

I've had similar experiences with movies set just about anywhere in the globe but filmed in BC. Tons of them are all filmed in the same public park for forested scenes and tons of movies filmed in the 80s, 90, 00s, and maybe even outside of those decades use the same houses near Vancouver.

Indeed. Most of Hawaii's native terrestrial megafauna has been extinct for centuries, leaving the largest animals being dogs and domesticated livestock. Nothing smaller than a pig or sheep would even show up on that thing's radar as viable prey. Either that thing was picking off tourists to what is clearly a scenic waterfall, or it was preying on herds from a nearby ranch, both of which would attract a lot of unwanted attention/animal control/force multipliers very quickly.

"VFX: car on fire" is probably the least strange part of Velocipastor. And yes, it's probably a money laundering scheme, but a priest who turns into a dinosaur teaming up with a proz to bring down a criminal organisation is by far the best "bad" story I've ever heard of.

Regarding the naming of hybrid critters: It depends on what sex the parents are. A male lion x female tiger mix is a liger; a female lion x male tiger mix is a tigon, etc. You get different traits depending on which side contributes.

I've been terminally poisoned by the internet to the point where I hear "You didn't want this, you didn't choose this" I instantly think of Extra Credits and their unhinged story arc where they unironically claimed WW2 games that have a multi-player are naxi factories and any character with green skin is a negative dogwhistle for black people regardless of how positively any said green characters get portrayed.

Well now that more of these type of movies are being covered. Well Mr. Roanoke, allow me to make a few suggestions. *Inserted evil laughter* 1: Sharktopus 2: Two-headed shark 3: Three-headed shark 4: Four-headed through five headed shark 5: Multi-headed shark vs Sharktopus! 6: Dinocroc 7: Frakenfish Choose wisely Mr. Roanoke, there are ALWAYS more terrible movies to suggest!

I had forgotten about the several headed shark movies... There are also many new creature feature Chinese movies in which the whole ecosystem is so murderous, you have to really wonder how they survive in a remote island (it's always an island) bereft of humans to eat.

Oh I hope you keep going with these You have stuff like Dinocroc (or Dinocorc as its sometimes called on packaging), Supergator, Dinoshark, Sharktopus, Super Shark, Mega Piranha, Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus, Dragon Wasps, etc These films are batshit crazy and if papa Roanoke can explain em it'll be a christmas mackerel You also mention the python vs gator thing going on in Florida. There's even a movie kinda about that called Mega Python vs Gatorioid. Which has so much weird stuff. But basically it has gators and pythons both growing way too big by being fed...steroids and startijg a genetic race. Yeah you'd have a field day with that.

One of the most unrealistic parts about giant snake movies is how they move: Big snakes tend to have trouble moving on land at all, due to their weight. In water, however, they can move easily. Same issue with whales.

We were standing around in the driveway talking when my nephew finds the longest worm. He runs to his mom trying to climb her legs yelling “mama up, up piranaconda!!” She immediately shoots us a glare and we can only crack up😂

I still remember the other other OTHER pihrana-themed Sci-Fi/SyFy horror B-movie, that used two Nerf Longshot CS-6's painted black but with a still perfectly legible Nerf logo on 'em (one whole, the other split in half to make them look different). I think it was about giant ocean-going pihranas, but really all I remember about it is how much it made me miss my favorite Nerf blaster that got stolen ages ago. Thing shot further than any nerf blaster I have had since and its three-in-one nature was just neat.

But then when I was a teenager, I figured it out. It's part snake and piranha. I was like. Oh okay. I actually still love this movie like when I was a teenager. I was really entertained by it. And then when I was adult, I still love it. It's really. Creative and honestly, really good. The snake design looks really cool. It will be a cool sculpture to make.
