Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Soundtrack - 02. Singapore

Күн бұрынSingapore is a suite starting with Sao Feng's theme, played by varying Asian instruments, notably the erhu. The middle portion of this track is the first variation of the new Cutler Beckett and the East India Trading Company theme, used for the opening battle sequence in the Singapore bathhouse, followed by a plucked variation of Sao Feng's theme. At the very end, we hear Jack Sparrow's easily recognizable arrival theme, presented almost identically to its appearances in the other two films.

Loved this film. Along with the first two. The fourth one...not so much. But they all have amazing soundtracks!

Natalie Harshman Orlando is rumoured to be returning but Keira has already confirmed she isn't going to feature in any more POTC films

Natalie Harshman yeah, their storyline was a big part of why I loved POTC because it wasn't as cliche as other disney love stories. I don't know that i'd want Will back without Elizabeth either?

yeah the sound at 0:19 is also in the soundtrack, "Shifu Must Convince Po"... it's even in the same key!

So I was just rewatching this movie and one thing that i noticed this time that i didn't notice before when watching the movie was that Hans Zimmer sampled a piece called Lion City by Soon Hee Newbold at parts during the fight sequence. So if you like this track from the movie, check out Lion City because this track definitely takes inspiration from it.

Out of all 5 films, At World's End has the best soundtrack IMO...IIRC the main POTC theme doesn't even play until the credits.
