If we get another POTC movie, I pray that Johnny Depp is still the Captain. Anyone else is #NotMyCaptain.

I’d just like to point out that Jack went out of his way to give Elizabeth everything. He protected her and Will on countless occasions, risked his own safety and life on their behalf, protected her honor from Beckett and others, and even agreed to come back and help out when everyone only rescued him for their own interests. And all this, AFTER she betrayed and killed him and never apologized or made up for it. I’d have tossed her overboard.

Do you remember when Jones asked him to enslave 100 innocent souls for him, Jack initially agreed but when he tried he couldn't force himself to do an horrible thing like that and tried instead to blackmail Jones to leave them alone? That's an underrated moment and yet people still don't understand his character

Its interesting how much pain Jack has gone trough his childhood and his life, and yet he's still a man with a great heart despite he pretends the contrary

Willing to lay down his life for those who may not deserve it but he knows he may not deserve it either. It's like Jesus with an edge. Johnny Depp truly is the heart of all humanity. I miss Jack. I've been watching all of his movies again for the umpteenth time. I respect Johnny's decision regarding this character, based on what Disney/Warner did to him, even without a shred of evidence that he committed any crimes whatsoever. Considering the irrefutable evidence of his innocence proven during trial, Warner/Diz can go to heck in a handbasket for firing him, yet keeping his abuser employed. It was a very cruel & reprehensible move that will cost them.

Captain Jack Sparrow was my childhood crush. He is a beautiful man inside and out. And what makes him better is he is portrayed by Johnny Depp, a kind and sweet man. Jack freed slaves, and although he was tortured for it, he still never regretted what he did for those innocent people. He made a contract with Davy Jones to enslave 100 people, but when he tried, he could not bring himself to do it, so he tried to get Davy to leave them alone. He saved so many lives. He always did the right thing. There is no Captain Jack Sparrow without Johnny Depp. Johnny built the character.
