Lemme just say this: The entire move was fantastic. This has to be one of, if not the BEST pirates movie ever made. From the amazing CGI on Davy Jones to the Kraken, this movie was the best one I had ever seen and I will never forget the first time I saw the Kraken attack. Also apparently they had no true idea of how the Kraken would look so I’ve always been curious on what the cgi model looked like.

There is a video somewhere I saw of this guy in a boat he heard the black Pearl was docked somewhere n he found it n filmed everything!!! He was looking for it. N he finds it n maneuvers his boat real close to film it all. It looks magnificent to say the least. When he actually spots it, n u see it, I gasped. Ooo yo be on that ship!!!

I knew the ships themselves weren’t CGI, but I figured it was a giant real ship sitting on top of walls and walls of green screens.. but nope. The pieces sail and maneuver like actual ships

Love this I was lucky enough to see the ship. Was so cool. And even cooler was spotting JD in my home town . In Canada 🇨🇦. I didn’t get to speak with him I was too stunned. 😳 😳😳 I love the first three films. Captain Jack Sparrow is the immortal Captain Jack Sparrow, forever sailing the seas.

This is why these movies (POTC series) are great, memorable, awesome... because it's real. cgi is used only when needed and at the minimum. and of course, the first rockstar pirate - Captain Jack Sparrow
