This 1991 NES port of the 1987 Commodore 64 classic was among the last ports of Pirates to be released before later revisions, such as the gold version on the Sega Genesis. The Nintendo version was developed by Rare. Sid Meier was a designer and programmer of not just Pirates, but later games like Civilization.

Cool Red coat uniform! I remember the Xbox game. Nice map. " I remember last time it as Sir Blue Balls." I watched it, was good and still holds up. Glad you had a good time. :O) "It's that promising sea dog, Mr. Blue Balls!" "Be free!" That laugh was great. "He's like yo come at me bro! Come at me!" "No it's mine. It's mine!" Murray wants your gun hehe. "Yo you don't need any gold when you've got family!" Vin Diesel loves family. "Where's the music in this damn game?!" "Yo ride the silver train." "Yeah the face right in the balls! I mean right here right right in the right blue balls!" "Uh town now it belongs to you!" Hmm true strategy and RPG games are fun. That theme song is tight.
