The studios used the fuck out of him lol. Gave him a contract for a heap of blockbuster movie franchises on a measly wage in comparison to the other actors, then he's had sweet f all rolls since.

It's lotr for me, because i can't imagine Orlando's character dying in any movie. I don't want to see him die anywhere. Plus I'm into long haired blondes. Edit: I was weak. I watched all the Pirates movies. I balled my eyes out. I will stand with my statement, i would much rather look at Orlando as Legolas, but Will is slowly growing on me too.

I wish a director would cast Orlando Bloom and John Rhys-Davies together just one more time. Their chemistry together is great and would be even greater if they did another movie together, just one last time (as friends)

I absolutely loved him in Lord of the Rings and I have to say I love him in those more then Pirates of the Caribbean but at the same time I respect him as an actor and as a person.

I will always love both but while I’ll never tire of watching LOTR, my son is a pirate lover through and through and it seems he will never tire of watching POTC! 😂 I’m sure it is nice to know that you were part of two cinematic franchises that are both timeless and well loved!

Now I have seen many of my favorite characters in books brought to screen….many!! (Comics too). Orlando as Legolas was the coolest…because before that I had the animated version (Bashki). Thank you OBloom

Seriously great actor! Doesn't get the credit he deserves for those roles, both were unique and you forgot Orlando bloom when watching those characters and that's the mark of a great actor 👌

I prefer the LOTR movies to POTC, but as for Orlando himself, I think I actually liked him better as Will Turner. I guess I feel like he just fit the part much better in POTC.

My sister had Orlando posters on her room when we were kids and I didn't like him because he was an "arrogant" guy who was good looking. Now I just absolutely adore Orlando... so cool... so humble... just a real boy-boy who is living his best life

LOTR is definitely the go to, easily one of the best series of movies ever made. But Pirates is so good too. At least the first 3. After that it's kinda like really still going eh.

I love the first 2 pirates (3 and 4 are okay also, 5 is horrific), they are fantastic action epics with amazing VFX and gave us one of cinema’s greatest protagonists and iconic timeless music… But the LOTR trilogy is probably the greatest blockbusters ever made
