His dad and his mom were posting about trying to find him, and then oddly stopped talking about him at all or posting about him. A lot of people that know him, were coming to me, thinking his dad did something to him. So I took it upon myself to reach out to them and ask if they knew where he was. Silence. So I then took to social media and posted photos of him and just asked for anyone who had any information to come forward. Missing in Michigan got ahold of me because of the post and did major digging for me. Turns out my friend is alive and well, told police that when they approached him when he initially "vanished" and just didn't want anyone to know if he was alive or dead. Really shitty of him but I get it at the same time. It's really shitty to let your friends and family believe you're dead, on purpose. Extremely shitty and he had a lot of family and friends worried that his dad killed him and buried him. I also understand wanting to start over and the good thing is, he's ALIVE. But yeah there's the story.

Found that out when my cousin, at the age of 22, decided it would be cool to take a bunch of pictures of a naked 14 year old girl in 2017. Funnily enough as a kid my camera on my laptop got hacked, instead of being scared or overreacting i did nothing but sit still and stare directly into the camera while smiling and saying "i can see you" every few minutes, for what felt like half an hour. Eventually the camera light turned off and it never happened again 😂

If he's a detective then the kid was Sherlock. It takes quite some thought to 1: find public access credit card dumps, 2: make the connection between live donations and transaction times in those dumps and 3: realise that information is blackmail material. Like software said, he got sloppy, but if he used a burner discord account to contact victims, this system would be fool proof until discord or authorities stepped in.

After that, it just stopped after Thor contacted the mom, saying that he would take legal action if the doxing continued. He didn't hear from the teen again, and the problem stopped. (I know because Thor has told this story a couple of times during the streams)
