Isaiah 55:12 “Yes, you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace. The mountains and the hills will break forth before you singing, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands!

Intuition only is the sens of observation that is very developed so it change the experience without naming it, moste of the time. It isn’t an instinct.

Let us remember that many of our people that disappeared in the most terrible tortures were respecting our tradition. That shall always be mentioned in any of our holly teaching. Then it would also suggest how come many didn't received that tradition any more from their parents, and as well why getting married with non jews couldn't even be an issue.

With all due respect, I did not get why this was entitled "Pirkei Avot...Introduction. This gave me no understanding of Avot. I appreciate your lecture, though you did not expound any significant information regarding Avot.

The introduction to a series is usually a separate lecture that relates to the subject matter to be discussed, but in the case of "Pirkei Avot" does not expound on the specific teachings that will follow.

@@tzipporahv3619 if your question was on the word of avot that is because avot is fathers in Hebrew and the rav explained it is here related to each generations from sages to the next sages that received our tradition from Moshe to Yeoshua and went on. So we know where those chapters (pirkey) are from. That transmission is from the fathers of our wisdom since the little mount of Simaï.

...sorry but the fruit on the tree, still can be infected by animal or insects... being attached to the tree does protect it that much from the "tuma" . But that being totally disconnected from our tradition since a few generations already, I must recognise that we still are getting back to it all ! As all the rivers get to the sea.

Processing in learning is very important and needs to be given a rightful place and space in the audience as well as the speaker, teacher, rabbi or those who the voice is coming through, it needs to be balanced, at present its imbalanced. Too much speaking and not enough listening. Israel do have a continuing culture and line of hearing from God, but other nations also have people groups that also have a continuing culture, way of being, wisdom, truth, listening and hearing as well sometimes from God and sometimes from wisdom and sometimes, from error and they want to be listened to and be heard. The problem is when you have different people groups, that are ancient and have a very old way of life, brings forth Pride which also brings forth a fall or an end, which is not always pleasant. That is why humility is valuable and stops people believing they are better than others. When there is an invisible damage that has been done, prevents listening from happening, that damage needs to be restored, and healed, so the very least, people can hear, listen and interact with each other, without the continuing, fighting squabiling and wanting to blow things up. Without listening there can be no learning. Also at present it makes it hard to hear, because of constant complaining and people bringing forth issues, sometimes the people just want to learn what they come to learn, without the constant flow of complaints and issues.

Why did he have to mention "Mexico" to refer to corruption? Why not Ukraine, Brazil, Angola, etc?

What on earth are you talking about ??😨😨😭😭 Don't give up. Give yourself a companion book to read with these lectures. There are many commentaries by many rabbis on Avot. May I suggest: 'As a Tree by the Waters' - Pirkei Avot: Psychological and Philosophical Insights by Rabbi Reuben P. Bulka Now go and learn 🌹❤🌹🙋🙆
