Knowing this intellectually and getting it emotionally are two different things. I feel the struggle within me to let go of the familial narrative of abandonment, lack of love, etc. It appears a lot of us are here to break these chains of family karma, and I believe I'm one of them. Last few years I've been separated from everyone and everything that was dragging me down. I thank God foe the epiphanies I've had, and I feel now I'm moving through those emotional waters that is the result of letting go of a lifetime (maybe many lifetimes) of this lack narrative. It's not easy, there were times I didn't think I'd survive it when I wasn't sure what was happening or why. Now I see, and things are coming together but it's emotionally draining and slow. It's not for the faint of heart! Patting myself on the back for coming this far at age 70 and having the strength to do so. Thank you, you explained it beautifully. ♥
