You guys really did your homework for this episode, the Ceviche is as Authentic as you can find, with the absence of the aji limo or rocotto or Panca that is the traditional Peruvian peppers normally used.

A calm but wonderful episode. I've seen egg white used in a few drinks but I've never had it myself. I'd love recipes focused on Eastern European meals! Latvian, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian... yum!

I LOVE it!! I'm from Peru and I can tell you really enjoy making this and the experience in itself. We actually have more or around 300 types of potatoes and once I read in my german book that when they conquer us (spain) they took out potatoes and brought it to the world, thats how everyone, everywhere now its and grows them.

Peruvian food it's amazing !!! Each town has totally different food . Each region different weather jungle , high mountain and beaches. There is not tacos o tortilla in Peru . Peruvians cuisine is one of the best of Latin America bc of the diversity.

I just made a virgin pisco sour drink, and let me tell you something, it was absolutely bloody delicious!!! I added a handful of ice, 2 tablespoon of simple syrup, 1 lemon, 1 egg white, and finally I added some carbonated lemon water, absolutely an outstanding drink

Depending on where you go, you can find east African influences to Indian influence to Polynesian influences to French influences. But all mixed together to create a cuisine that’s uniquely Malagasy! Bonus, you can easily get by with French.

Pro tip: if you make the pisco sour at home, shake the ingredients without ice first! Maybe stick a protein shaker spring in too if you like. You don't need a proper cocktail shaker really, just any two cups or glasses that make a tight seal. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds and then again with ice, and strain it through a tea strainer or any other small sieve you have on hand.

The Puerto Rican fisherman who taught me about ceviche said they did it as a way to eat their fresh catch, without having to manage fire on the boat. :-)
