Hii sir.i want to measure 15 amps.but meter shows 14 amps while doing practical.meter maximum reading is 20 amps.then you can explains error calculation for different error symbols you explained.

Sir I have a little doubt.If the instrument has full scale value of 30 volt, then how can it be tested at 500V or 2kV?

I think to test those instruments sustainability with a very short period of time like 500ms or 1s.

Large voltages can be stepped down upto a particular range which your instrument can record and then you should multiply that reading by the factor which the voltage was stepped down. In short, that's what PT( power transformer) is used for and similarly CT( current transformer) for measuring high currents. Hope that helped!

I will tell the procedure: All current carrying terminals are shorted or jumpered together. The reqd high voltage is injected between the terminals and non current carrying metallic frame or body. The device should withstand this test for 1 minute without any damage/failure. Note that higher the withstand voltage higher the cost. This test is known as HV withstand test. The voltage is selected based on historical data, otherwise it will be destructive. Meggering test is another common test done for testing the integrity of Insulation resistance. The injection voltage is usually 2x of normal working voltage of the device. Hope this info helps.

They said gravity will effect reading AND later by E.Intruments I thought reading may change incase of GRAVITY ONTROL
